It is because of entering. If entering into the dissimilar side, what is the error? It is said: Therefore, whatever side is similar to the side, and the dharmas such as what I have promised, are because of the reason for not entering the dissimilar side. Even if it is the dharma of both permanent and impermanent, there is no fault of uncertainty. Thus, when establishing the very nature of permanence, at that time, whatever side is similar to the permanence of space and so on, at that time, whatever side is similar or dissimilar to the side does not enter the dissimilar side. It is the same when establishing impermanence. If one thinks that in either case, the sound that has become a side, doubting whether it is permanent or impermanent, therefore entering into any side that is similar to the side, this is a recognition of error. It is said: The side itself is not the domain of logical fallacy. When doubt is what needs to be established, there is no certainty that it is the dissimilar side, and for what is determined to be the dissimilar side, it itself does not enter. Therefore, that is not the domain of error. Another case is, what kind of dissimilar side is considered here? Is it that things have nothing to be established? Or is it measured by people? If it is said to be things, even if it is made a side by people's wishes, because things exist and have nothing to be established, therefore the side itself is the domain of error. Then, how can it be said that the side itself is not the domain of error? If it is said to be measured by people's wishes, and the dissimilar side is other than the sides that are similar to the side, then the non-erroneousness of the reason will not become things, and inference will not become valid,

Regarding the ground, this becomes the dharma of both. The non-deception as a reason does not depend on the distinction of the faction that agrees with the tenet. Why does it not depend? Because it exists in the object. The faction that does not agree with the tenet is made by human desire, because it depends on it. Examining non-deception by relying on the disagreeing faction becomes made by human desire, not the object itself. When the object of deception is not made into a tenet, then it becomes deception. So how is the object? Because by distinguishing, after distinguishing the faction that agrees with the tenet and the faction that does not agree with the tenet, it is not to reveal that apart from the tenet, what is made is impermanent, this pervasion of the realm apart from the tenet. So how will it become? Without depending on the distinction of the faction that agrees with the tenet and the faction that does not agree with the tenet made by humans, it is to be shown by valid cognition the pervasion that comes from the power of the object itself. What kind of thing is that? Whether it is a tenet or something else, all that is made. The sound of "all" is an uncertain meaning, it is to be shown by valid cognition that all that is made is impermanent. Why is it so? Because it has been said that if it is established in that way, if only what is made is established as impermanent, then the dharma called "what is made" will be understood. If pervasion is established on other dharmas other than other tenets, then it will not be understood. Because what one wants to establish is the tenet, and also one wants to make it the tenet in that way, in order to establish the non-deception of the reason, all realms of deception will be made into tenets. Why? Because the entry of the person with the nature of desire is not the other's control of the object. If one wants to establish the opposite meaning in another way, the person's intention is not the way the object is. Similar to this, the dharma of pervasion established outside of the disagreeing faction is uncertain, so it will not be understood. If the dharma to be established is through direct perception and inference

Harm is the realm of delusion, and is that merely appearing as the subject, not the subject itself? If so, how can it be said that this alteration of dust is the realm of delusion regarding the subject? It is said: For the realm of inference, there is no harm from direct perception and so forth. The realm of a sign possessing the three modes is the realm of inference. Relying on the distinction of the subject conforming to the subject, it is not deluded. Because the subject is made the realm of delusion by the desire of a person, this reason that abandons delusion is precisely that which possesses the three modes. How does it not harm? If a valid cognition is harmed by another valid cognition, it would follow that it is not a valid cognition. If that which has harm becomes a valid cognition, and that which has no harm is a valid cognition, then this has already been explained in the second chapter. What was said? If harm is possible to one possessing the characteristic of a valid cognition, even if there is no harm to the suspicion of delusion, its characteristic will be refuted, because it is not trustworthy. Therefore, it would follow that it is not a valid cognition. It is thought that the very possession of a realm without harm is a characteristic other than the three modes, so if there is harm to the realm of something, then it does not possess the characteristic of inference. Why is it said that harm harms that which has a characteristic? It is said: If being without harm is also a characteristic, then the characteristic of that reason will become uncertain. It is not possible to ascertain that "there is no harm to this," and even if it is ascertained from some valid cognitions that there is no harm, the reason becomes meaningless because what is to be proven is established from that itself. Even if the characteristic is uncertain, since it is not what makes one understand, therefore, for what does it establish, the thought that is not deluded, nothing at all is established. Because if in this way it establishes pervasion beyond the subject, since it is not what makes one understand, therefore, for things, whatever a valid cognition pervades or does not pervade, that itself is what makes one understand or does not make one understand. Therefore, due to the desire of a person, the dharma of things, the very absence of delusion on things is not completely established, because it would follow that everything is what makes one understand. According to our view
