Etc., is it by the power of the occasion, like saying "it is for the sake of others"? For example, like saying "the chief self exists permanently," what meaning that one manifestly desires will be accomplished by stating a proof that sound cannot touch? Therefore, regarding the statement "the permanent or solitary chief exists," one should refute others, and it is indeed the particularity that is desired by oneself that should be established. Even if that particularity is to be established, since there is no concomitance on other subjects, the reason will become without concomitance. Therefore, through this sequence, since it is seen that the particularity is to be established, and also the fault, we say that if existence is to be established, then the particularity will become established. It is not that the particularity becomes to be established without reason, nor is it that one argues about the particularity without fault. Which will become the means of establishing the particularity? Which will become the fault of non-concomitance? There is not the slightest impossibility in merely establishing the general. It is not reasonable to explain this meaning by reversing the words; it is not the case that the teacher cannot utter the latter half before the former. If the particularity is to be established, it will become the fault of non-concomitance, because the general does not have concomitance. It is said: Because the nature of the subject, the chief, is not different from the fundamental nature, it is solitary; because there is no concomitance, there is no destruction, it is permanent; because it is the nature of the three qualities, it is the nature of happiness, suffering, and delusion, or it is the enjoyer, like that. In whatever way it may be, the particularity made in any way will become the very nature of the particularized to be established. Because of abandoning what is not desired, it is necessary to particularize the subject without doubt. Therefore, it is not general even at the time of concomitance, because here it is necessary to show what is desired to be established. Having thus particularized, there is no concomitance on other subjects. It is established that merely existence has concomitance, the one with concomitance

If that is established, then the desired meaning will not be accomplished at all. Therefore, this is the fault of not following (rjes su 'gro ba). Now, in order to show that other things that are desired to be proven also have the fault of not following, and that the establishment is the same as the establishment, it is said: If it is also the same for things to be proven such as people, there is no following, and it becomes a fault of establishing what is already established, isn't it? How is it? Like this, when proving fire and so on, there is no dispute about the existence of fire, because only fire is already established. When that is established, there is nothing to do, because that is not a part of entering. Fire with a special place is a part of entering, but only fire is not. So, is that itself to be proven? The answer is: Where does the difference of the basis itself, which has a place and so on, exist? That is not established because there is no following. Therefore, in general, it is establishing what is already established, and for the difference, there is no following, is that so? How is there no following? Like this, by what does it become no following? Even if it is the basis, it is not that, because it is not making a difference with the fact of difference, because there is no reason to eliminate what is not possessed, so it is necessary to distinguish the fire of the place. This meaning has already been said not to be simultaneous. If, when pervading, the fire that does not possess what is eliminated is not not established? Even if that is established, following
