Therefore, the view that "appearance exists because of transformation" has been explained. Therefore, here, it is precisely because the non-apprehension of appearance is the definite cause that the distinction of objects is stated. Therefore, the nature of knowledge and the knowable is non-apprehension, which has been explained in their respective chapters. If someone asks: How is the difference of things determined? Is it because of knowledge, not because of the thing itself. Similarly, is the knowledge of knowledge also from other knowledge? The answer is: It is not like that. If the difference of experience is determined by other consciousness, then that other consciousness is also from other consciousness, so the reasons for understanding the difference of knowledge will continue endlessly, therefore, no difference of any thing or knowledge can be established. Someone also asks: Why can't the difference of things be established from itself like the difference of knowledge? The answer is: Things are determined by their own existence or difference to determine the existence and difference related to things, because they are not the nature of awareness. Whatever is the self-existence and difference of awareness is established from itself. As it is said: Whatever existence is established from itself, its difference can also be established. Things are not the nature of awareness, therefore, mere existence cannot be established from itself, let alone difference? Therefore, the knowledge that I know is to establish existence and difference through its existence and difference, not autonomously. Similarly, the existence and difference of experience are not determined from the existence and difference of other experiences, because in this way, all knowledge and the knowable will become incomprehensible. Because the cause of determining non-existence is other knowledge, not just the absence of knowledge, therefore, as mentioned earlier, appearance is the definite cause of the non-apprehension of the object that can appear, excluding another self-nature mixed with knowledge from experiencing a special self-nature mixed with knowledge is not other, therefore, due to entering non-existence, experience itself is insubstantial, because the non-apprehension of appearance is the definite cause. Not only is it insubstantial, but the vase...

Moreover, if the non-apprehension is also the object of apprehension that is different from the pot and merges into one consciousness, then such non-apprehension is established by direct perception itself. Therefore, this is what is meant to be expressed: because it is determined that the object of appearance from other consciousnesses does not exist, therefore, that consciousness with particularity itself is also non-existent and non-apprehended, and this is also established by direct perception, and it will also become the cause of determining that the non-apprehension of appearance does not exist, because it is the thing itself. The non-existence and non-apprehension of things are the same, from where is that? It is said: Because the experience of unrelated objects, by the unrelated object itself, is determined separately in one way, from which other objects do not exist, are not other, but are the same. When it is determined that the experience itself is the determination that the object of that mode, the blue itself, exists, it is determined that there is no other or other experience, therefore, it itself is the non-existence of things, and this is also present here. When is it determined? When it is called no other. And the term no other also comes from the non-apprehension of appearance. Therefore, this is not the function of direct perception. It should be seen that the object of apprehension itself exists, and there is no other, this depends on the situation, the real function of direct perception is, this is the object of apprehension, and this is not the object of apprehension. Similarly, the determination of the nature of particularity itself is the determination that there is no other experience, because the particularity of its nature is established from itself, this is what is said. Therefore, determining that there is no other experience, here it should not be said to be implied, but it is here that there is no other. If direct perception is not called no other, then how is it determined? It is implied that if there were other things that could appear there, then only one direction would not be apprehended, and this is also because of apprehension. If the determination of apprehension itself does not determine that there is nothing to be seen, then it also exists for those that cannot be seen, therefore, it should be called by the non-apprehension of appearance.
