It makes the unmindful remember. Incidentally, summarizing the digressions, explaining the original. The complete arising of the effect from the cause, this is explained by thoroughly distinguishing with reason. No different examples are given, because it is included within the reason of inherent nature. Why? Because suitability itself is what is to be proven. Although it may be certain that the effect arises completely from the cause, how is it understood to be included within inherent nature? It is explained: In location and knowledge, since it is not perceived by inherent nature, in the expression of the absence of pervasive nature, suitability is what is to be proven. Where do the pervaded and the pervading also become established? It is said that pervasion is also established elsewhere. The expression of completely entering another place is established merely from non-perception, and since that which is established becomes the cause, pervasion is established. Because of that very reason, by being completely established in one, suitability also becomes established as pervading by reason. Therefore, in this way, non-perception is included within the reason of inherent nature, so non-perception itself is the absence of a pot. Now again it is established, and that which has become the nature of non-perception, that absence, in the expression of absence, suitability is what is to be proven, the second chapter and here also have been explained. From what does it become an expression of absence, by the nature of absence, non-perception, how is that itself established, and how does that absence also become the cause of certainty of absence of knowledge? Thinking that he does not know what is considered to be non-perception, he asks me, so it is said: This fault does not exist. In this way, from experiencing the object of a single meaning unmixed with others, the conceptual thought arises that this thing is perceived, or not perceived, the establishment and cessation of perception. From experiencing a single object. From what? Because from what, there is certainty of absence of knowledge. From that very absence of knowledge, becoming an expression of absence, things, the knowledge of their own objects, merely that absence, it is not that it changes in that way, this is certainty of absence of knowledge. Then, from what does it become an expression of absence, certainty of absence of knowledge, from what is it known?

Explanation: The nature of things, transformed and inverted from places and so on, is due to the existence of a consciousness mixed with one consciousness. If it is said, "This is not seen," this non-consciousness becomes uncertain, and names are established only by the way of determining non-seeing. However, the name of non-existence is not established by non-consciousness, but by other consciousness. Why? Because at times such as sleep, when all meanings are not realized, one does not realize the absence of consciousness because one does not perceive the absence of things. At that time, how does one not realize the absence of consciousness? Because of the absence of memory. Because one does not realize the absence of consciousness from the absence of consciousness, if the meaning is manifest, then by the power of the manifest valid cognition, discrimination of the aspects of object and non-object arises. Manifest perception establishes the name of non-seeing, but it cannot establish the name of non-existence of things. Because one also sees those that are not seen. Therefore, it is named because of the non-perception of appearance. That which can establish the name of non-existence is said to be the determination of the non-perception of what can be seen. The so-called "This is not seen" is known by manifest perception, and thus, merely determining the absence of consciousness is also transformed by others. Furthermore, why is it that from the experience of one consciousness, one determines the non-seeing of other meanings? Because the realization of the difference of meaning is transformed by the experience of difference. The realization of the difference of experience is known by one's own intelligence, which is the nature of the difference of such aspects, that is, the aspect of blue, and not by the experience of others. Thus, if so, then the experience of the difference of the nature of self-established nature can also make the meaning the difference of the meaning to be taken, because the determination of the difference of meaning depends on the determination of the difference of consciousness. Here, if one knows the determined nature of the differentiated consciousness by consciousness, and determines that there is no other, then why is it said that meaning can distinguish meaning? When seeing is connected with one consciousness, if there are vases and so on, then seeing
