Is it not from where that ability is obtained? If that ability never disappears, then it becomes permanent. Why is that? Because the very nature of being able to generate knowledge is no different from sound. If the non-different ability arises and disappears, then the very nature of sound will also become impermanent. However, if one considers ability to be different, then if ability is something else, it will also become a fault. In reality, it is not something else. The fault is that it cannot be related, and if other benefits are realized, there is no end, and because knowledge arises from benefit, it is not the producer of sound. Therefore, it will become a constant object. This is never observed at times when effort has not been initiated and has ceased. Whoever observes this immediately after effort, therefore, the very nature of sound, effort is a small helper that does some benefit. Effort is not a helper to knowledge itself, because the knowledge of the object that existed previously should not depend on effort. However, it is understood that effort is a helper to the very object that has just arisen. Why is that? It is explained: because the dharma of the agent is seen. For sound, it is not the knowledge of seeing the dharma of the agent of effort. The object of knowledge, such as Tara and others, is that when a thing is already established and continuously enters, it is the object of knowledge when it generates knowledge with its own object. Because one understands oneself, it is said that it is the cause of other wisdom. Effort is not the cause of one's own knowledge from the sound that has already been established, but it is the cause of accomplishing its own nature, just as the effort of a potter is the cause of accomplishing a pot. The world also distinguishes between the knowledge of the nature of things that have already been established and the things that have not been established and need to be accomplished only through experience. Therefore, just as the things to be illuminated by a lamp and the pot to be accomplished by a potter are known as the object of illumination of a lamp and the fruit of a potter, sound is also the fruit of effort. If it is not like that, then the pot should also be illuminated by the effort of the potter, so everything should be illuminated.

It becomes the cause of transformation. Because the Dharma of the agent is seen, sound is produced by effort, therefore, the knowledge of sound that arises immediately upon effort abides in the fact that the cause, sound, is the fruit of impermanent nature. Where the self-nature of the cause is inferred, there, the earth and other places are the subject of Dharma, and where the difference is to be inferred, there, that itself is the subject of Dharma. From the knowledge that has the relationship of being produced, its difference, namely impermanence, is to be proven. In order to summarize this meaning, it is said that the consciousness of the meaning that was already present from the effort is not necessarily produced immediately upon effort. Knowing by the self-nature of the meaning, then it is also the agent before, because it does not depend on effort. Because there is no obscuration, the senses and sound are not closely connected with effort. The so-called "all kinds" is neither beneficial to sound nor does it act together with sound. The clarifying letter is not considered to be helpful here, because it is the sound itself, because nothing else is seen. However, even if there is no close connection, why does it not arise immediately upon effort? Because sometimes without dependence, what contradiction is there in not producing the result, therefore it is unreasonable to produce the result together with effort. This kind of knowledge that arises immediately upon effort is also visible. Therefore, this kind of knowledge that depends on effort is a sign of it because it is established as the fruit of occasional meaning. For example, with this statement itself, whatever is the characteristic of reason, the Dharma of the side, etc., is the object of reason. Although it has been shown, from the example of the Dharma of the side of the fruit reason, separating the Dharma of the side of self-nature separately is because all reasons have the nature of one side of the similar class, in order not to understand that any one of self-nature or fruit exists on one side of the similar class, it cannot be understood.
