It may be conceded that knowledge does not arise because there is no cause for things like a vase. However, when an object is seen, if the causes that produce knowledge are obstructed, what else could it be if not an obstruction? If it is said that knowledge does not arise, then it is explained: Knowledge does not arise because the cause is incomplete. Why is there a reason? "If an interruption occurs" means at the time when there is an interruption. Because the interruption is near, the power of what was previously produced is stopped, and because it is desired to arise from what was previously stopped, the power of the cause of knowledge has not yet arisen, so the cause is incomplete. All those moments that are separated from the object are thought to be powerless. Because of what has it not arisen? Because there is no cause. Because the previous moment has the power to produce knowledge, but it is not the cause of another moment that has the power to produce knowledge, therefore there is no cause. For example, for the first moment, the cause that acts together, or whatever is mutual, is able to transfer from its own essence, and only that is able to be the cause, and so are the second moment and so on. If the moment becomes interrupted, then because it produces an interval that obstructs the senses and so on, entering from light into darkness, or the moment of the cause that previously acted together with others, or the moment that brings each other near, are not able to be the cause. Its meaning is this: If the moment has an interruption, because the previous one is not the cause, the cause of knowledge has not arisen. Therefore, because the previous one has stopped, the cause is also incomplete, and therefore knowledge has not arisen, but not because the obstruction has hindered the possibility of arising from its own cause. Why? Because the possibility does not transfer from its own nature. Whatever possibility there is cannot transfer from its own essence, therefore because there is no cause, knowledge has not arisen. Therefore, for some things like a wall, doing a little is not caused by an obstruction. However, if they exist, because the cause is incomplete, for what is not seen, it is fabricated as an obstruction to the object, and it is called an obstruction. Therefore, the obstruction does not do a little, but the object of

It is shown that clinging to the cause of arising and being associated with obscuration. Now, in order to show that it slightly obscures, the word "or" is spoken. Saying "aspect" means "it is also existence." Moments will help each other, but not the nature of merely indicating non-moments. If the senses and objects are very clearly present, how can obscuration provide help from them? Therefore, it is said, "Because it is inconceivable." How can that which dwells far away help the object? It is not possible to think like that, even a magnet dwelling far away can attract iron. The cause is the proximate cause, and the condition is the co-emergent cause. Whatever arises from the cessation of something, and the nature of the effect of all the differences to be accomplished by all co-emergent conditions, that which arises on what is the proximate cause, and the other is the condition. Thus, "That and not that, the nature of reality." It has been analyzed there. If it is not inconceivable for the omniscient, then the omniscient can directly manifest all kinds of differences, which is the object of thought. Only this much can be said, that whatever follows the presence or absence of something in order to obtain its own nature or difference, that is its cause. If that is the case, then dwelling far away is also a cause. Therefore, the obscuration that exists between the senses and objects is incompatible with the arising of consciousness and is incapable. The word "most" expresses extreme change. Its nature is most, that is, extreme change. Extreme change also distinguishes between the object and the senses. This is a synonym for saying "incapable of extreme change." The ability of a person's obscured senses to generate the consciousness of the object or senses is diminished by the obscuration, but not by others. Therefore, in order to show that the unobscured senses can see that object, it is said, "being in the middle." Inconceivable.
