In this way, although there is contradiction with direct perception in saying such words as "there is no sound." However, there are many ways to prevent the object of sound. For example, saying that sound is not momentary, not pervasive, or not permanent, and so on. If there is no audible sound, then it will be suspected that preventing everything contradicts direct perception. It will be shown that audible sound prevents the very nature of what is apprehended by hearing, and direct perception will contradict it, but it will not contradict preventing the common dharma. If the audible sound is not also a common expression, then how can it express the realm of the senses? The answer is: Because it is not an object to be expressed as the common, non-common nature of all sounds, the audible sound can express it. The sound of sound alone will cause suspicion about everything. Because the audible sound is more prominent, the difference can be understood indirectly, but not because it itself is the object of its own characteristics. If so, why not express the difference with characteristics such as "the nature of sound"? Regarding the doubt about audible sound, it is explained: The establishment of the nature of sound depends on the knowledge of hearing. Because it is the cause of establishment, "its" refers to the cause of being harmed by the power of the hearing's valid cognition. Therefore, the audible sound can express the realm of the senses. It means that the meaning of complete establishment will be harmed, and sound is also established in hearing. Therefore, by fully showing the cause of the establishment of sound, the valid cognition that harms is shown, so the audible sound is mentioned. Some say that because it is established by relying on it, the phrase "because its power will harm" is two reasons, namely, because this meaning is established by the power of hearing, and because the power of hearing also harms contradictions, the audible sound can express it. Regarding the contradiction between the established meaning and inference, an example is given: "The pot is permanent." How can one see a decaying pot and still think it is permanent? This is the case for those who see pots that can withstand being struck.

If it is a dharma of change, if it is struck, it will change, then it is not a change. Therefore, because of mistakenly thinking that the pot exists, it is said that the pot is permanent, and it will become like that. How is that permanence? Just like the pot that was seen before disappears when it is broken later. Mentioning having birth, etc., because it is made and exists, everything will become non-existent. In order to refute the example, the Samkhya says: If there is no impermanent pot, then all the pots that are broken and not broken are permanent. If impermanence itself is changing without following, then there is nothing changing without following. Therefore, there is nothing called impermanence. Then, how is it when the pot ceases? There, it is also because it is an observable kalpa, that is, cessation, and not because of impermanence. Abandoning the observable stage and taking the unobservable stage, it is not said that the broken pot has completely disappeared. If it is said that it is not its stage, then it is said that it is not its stage. The previous observable and workable stage exists in which thing, that is that thing, and what is not that thing is not its stage. If it is said that what is not its stage is another stage, and the pot itself exists, then its stage is itself. What kind of stage does the existence of the pot have, and the combination close to the fruit is the pot. What else can be done by others who have not seen the stage and have not combined closely with the work? Is that stage of it changed or not changed, what else is there? Therefore, what is not its stage itself is impermanence. That is because it exists when the pot is broken, so, because of the brokenness or because of the kalpa, the so-called fruit of the child, there is no difference to its non-stage, therefore, there is no difference in the reason, so, do not be attached to the words of brokenness and kalpa. Therefore, like that, its stage is the pot, so the word kalpa speaks of the brokenness itself. The nature of the observable middle pot, that pot itself, is also in which of the previous and later stages of nature
