Moreover, it is not necessarily possible to see the antidote. Therefore, the so-called hesitation because of that reason refers to where one of the characteristics of the reason that one wants to state exists. That reason cannot be a term for reason. For example, for reasons that doubt pervasiveness and other situations, the term "reason" cannot be assigned. A sign is that which unfailingly ascertains what one wants to establish, like a lamp, it is not enough to be merely possible. Unfailing ascertainment is only the ascertainment of characteristics. For those characteristics, even if one is uncertain, that sign cannot be unfailingly ascertained, so it cannot be called understandable. When stating the three aspects of the characteristics of a reason, knowledge should also be included, because it is from the perspective of what can be known. Any statement that says it is certain for both includes knowledge. Therefore, doubt about the characteristics cannot be a term for reason. We are not the only ones who think this way, the teacher also thinks that it cannot be a term. Therefore, wanting to state one of the numbers that cannot be determined, the teacher also thinks that it is not a characteristic, that is what this means. If it is necessarily impossible to determine, then how do you determine that inference has no antidote? The answer is: the object of inference with the characteristics we have stated, because it is impossible for there to be an opponent that matches its own characteristics, therefore inference has no non-deceptive contradiction. Like this, its nature and the things that arise from it are non-deceptive for some things, if it is not like this, it is impossible not to be deceptive. It is impossible for one thing to have two mutually contradictory natures. Therefore, on one subject, two mutually contradictory natures, that is, two non-deceptive dharmas, are very impossible. Therefore, for an inference established by valid cognition, it is impossible for there to be a non-valid cognition, non-deceptive contradiction. Unestablished and so on are possible for valid cognition. The teacher did not say that he wanted to state one of the numbers.
