The meaning is that it is so in all respects. This contradiction with the commitment also does not have any dependence on other tenets that are uncertain. Because the debater's own view is stated by himself from the perspective of other tenets, and then refuted by others, therefore it belongs to the former distinction of the situation. When the previous speech commits and the later speech contradicts, it is a contradiction with the commitment; and in the same speech, it is a contradiction with one's own words. After explaining that the commitment is the sign of the result, In order to explain fame, it is said "fame also". Fame is the realization of having a name object, which is a profound discriminating consciousness. It harms the meaning that contradicts itself. Why? Because what is called "expressed by the sound of intention" cannot negate all the meanings to be expressed. And why is that? Because what is expressed by the sound of intention is only related to the individual's intention. Therefore, if what is expressed by the sound of intention cannot be negated, then what is expressed by the sound of intention itself will cause harm, so how does fame cause harm? It is explained that the name used in the name is discrimination, which is the object of discrimination itself. The nature of fame is the dharma that arises from the name of the object of discrimination, that is, the dharma of the characteristic expressed by the sound of intention, because it arises from fame, so it is called the sound of fame. In order to show that the meaning established only through fame causes harm here. Because this dharma itself is established from fame, in some cases, it is expressed by the sound of complete establishment, such as "not eliminated by establishment" and so on. If what is expressed by the sound of intention, how can it not negate all meanings? Therefore, it is said "only intention" and so on. Because everything can be expressed by the sounds of done and undone, imputed and unimputed. The so-called "nature" refers to the nature that appears in the discriminating consciousness, not the tru

It is not grasped by relying on reliance. Desire that does not depend on things is merely desire. Because all sounds enter with just that desire for the meaning of the essence that appears in conceptualization. Therefore, all things are suitable for the ultimate sound of nature that resides in conceptualization. What has arisen is compared to sound, for example, the sound of the moon is like the moon; what will arise is not compared to sound, for example, the sound of the moon is like a vase and so on. It is precisely because it is suitable for sound. As for what is called merely related to meaning, how can the expressibility transformed by desire be merely related to meaning? The meaning of the external object of expression is not merely meaning, but the meaning of the object of conceptualization. What can be expressed by sound is what is to be expressed, not the external. Therefore, even if that expressibility is transformed by desire, it is related to the mere meaning that resides in conceptualization. Therefore, that expressibility, that which is to be expressed by the sound of desire that prevents it, is not the meaning of its own characteristic, or that meaning is harmful to the person who speaks. In this regard, the meaning of validity (pramāṇa) is as follows: Whatever is the meaning of the object of conceptual knowledge can be expressed by the sound of metaphor. For example, for the object of conceptualization, the meaning of having branches and so on can be expressed by the sound of a tree. Similarly, since all things are objects of conceptualization, all sounds can express them. If there is a relationship between the meaning of things and sounds, then sounds cannot express them, and this has already been refuted. What meaning that remains in the nature of wisdom cannot be related to sound? What does not mix with the aspect of sound in one wisdom? Since conceptual knowledge is uncertain in meaning, the meaning that resides on it can be mixed with the aspect of what is said. Therefore, inexpressibility pervades not being able to mix with the aspect of what is said, and being able to mix with the aspect of what is said is a contradictory pervasion. This also pervades the object of conceptual knowledge itself, therefore, in this way, conceptual
