The valid cognition that arises by force is not an object of desire, but it is an object of external meaning. Although thinking in this way is not valid cognition, it is expressed in words in order to understand the general meaning. If one does not want to show the general meaning as valid cognition, then one will not speak. That which comes by the force of speech is desire, and the other is not desire because it is prohibited. At the time of speaking, if whatever is desired obstructs what is to be said, then it will contradict one's own words, because one desire contradicts another desire. The contradiction of that word with one's own word is only an obstacle, but it is not harmed by the desire for valid cognition of an external object. Therefore, whether it is oneself or another, entering into seeing the meaning as it is is due to faith. The word of that is the fruit of the meaning, and it is very famous to promise that it is said to be an external fruit. The fruit of thinking is present in all words, so the difference becomes meaningless. What does the obstacle become again? If the word is definite in meaning, then one's own meaning can obstruct the meaning of others, and what is not valid cognition is doubt about the meaning. Therefore, because it is not valid cognition, the strength is equal. Because the strength is equal, it is an obstacle. Because it is impossible to contradict one self, and it is not reasonable to be empty of two aspects. Doubt arises about the meaning of both non-valid cognitions, and because doubt arises, they become mutually obstructive. What is it because it is not valid cognition? It is said: Because if one of the two words is valid cognition, then those two will only become established, but nothing will obstruct anything, therefore it is not valid cognition. Wherever there is doubt about the existence or non-existence of the two, there will be an obstacle, because it is the fruit of doubt. Here, there is certainty about the existence or non-existence of the two. Therefore, it is not an obstacle. How does it become non-obstacle, how are the two established? It is said: With the word of valid cognition, to non-valid cognition

For the sake of hindering. Wherever anything is hindered, and whatever is established, both must either exist or not exist there, so from where would it become an obstacle? If a valid cognition harms a non-valid cognition, then the treatise would not become an obstacle, but it itself is the harmer. Like this, because the proponent has promised, the treatise is a valid cognition for all things established by the treatise and established by experience. Therefore, it is a harmer in all cases. The characteristic that enters by the power of things is also known as a valid cognition, so it is known to be a harmer. If the treatise is also promised to be a valid cognition, then how is it not a harmer? Even if there is no difference in promise, how can one word be both a valid cognition and a non-valid cognition, therefore a harmer, while another is not a valid cognition? If what is done by promise is a valid cognition itself, then there is no difference in promise for both, because there is no difference in validity, therefore it is a harmer for both. It is not reasonable for both to be harmers in the same object, because the harmer exists, and the thing to be harmed does not exist, it is contradictory for one thing to exist and not exist simultaneously. Therefore, it is reasonable to be an obstructer. Furthermore, if it is said that it is a harmer through promise itself, then the validity of this treatise itself, which is done by the desire of a person, is completely fulfilled, because you did not want it before, but now you want it to be fulfilled. If the treatise and one's own words have an obstacle with the result of doubt, even then it is not a fault of the pledge, what shows this is the word "if." If there are any contradictions between one's own words and the treatise, then, if it becomes a fault of obstruction, it depends on the situation. Even then, how is it a fault of the side? It is not at all. Why? Because the obstructer only makes the thing to be proven into doubt, but does not eliminate it. Doubt is also present for statements that do not eliminate faults, therefore it is the same, therefore it is not a fault of the side. Doubt is a quality of the side, not a fault, because doubt is
