The reason of establishment prevents the non-establishment of the argument and the example. For example, saying "sound is impermanent because it is produced, like a pot," even if the producedness itself is not established upon examination, the opponent does not consider it something to be proven at that time, and although the example is not established for the Samkhyas, they do not consider it something to be proven. Therefore, stating these is like not being the subject. "By the opponent himself," etc., shows that other things to be eliminated by the word "intention." What is mixed with non-intention is not the proposition to be established. Only what is intended is the proposition to be established, not what is mixed with non-intention. For that very reason, even if it harms it, it will not become the fault of a contradictory argument, and it will not become the fault of a valid scripture harming the subject. This is the meaning to be expressed. Why? Because there is no prevention of how what is not beyond what is to be established becomes what is to be established. If what is to be established is prevented, that is a fault, but preventing what is mixed with others is not, because even if what is mixed is prevented, it does not harm what is timely. An example of what is mixed with non-intention: non-intention together with the qualities of space itself, included in one meaning, that impermanence that exists in what place, that is combined with non-intention, and similarly it also establishes that it does not exist, because there are no dependent qualities of nature at all, it has already been explained many times. Whatever is incidental to one's own sound, at the time of recollection, because it is not that it does not arise if it is not there, therefore, it is not permissible to rely solely on valid scripture, it is precisely because of explaining this that it eliminates showing what is not timely in the subject. Explaining what is not timely is: for example, sound is impermanent or permanent, the sound established merely through experience, wanting to know the famous appearance or destruction in the world, wanting to know is also timely. Only in the case of impermanence, there, different from sound, taken by the sense of hearing, that generality called sound, with one inclusion that possesses it, that impermanence that exists in what place, is possessed with sound, this is with distinction.

It is like the general permanence itself, like the case where it is not similar to it. If such impermanence itself is not the desire of the particular? How is it made a party to the inappropriate occasion? It is said that it depends on the treatise, because the Dharma, etc., which is known from the treatise, is completely taken as the subject of Dharma. Or, both depend on the treatise. If the opponent wants to understand the impermanence itself, which is known from the treatise, then it will be reasonable to make the meaning widely known from the treatise as a party. The fact that the opponent wants to understand it will be known from asking what kind of impermanence you have. If it is not so, that is, if it does not depend on the treatise, or if it is not the desire to understand it, then stating the meaning that is not related to the complete grasp of the meaning of the treatise will not be listened to because there is no lack of inclusion in the occasion. Therefore, since both the debater and the opponent do not rely on the Dharma which is widely known from the treatise, they do not rely on the treatise, but when they fully contemplate some things such as the impermanence itself which is widely known in the world, there is no opportunity to make the occasion inappropriate, not widely known itself as a party. It is said that the desire of the debater to pursue is not the occasion. Because it is not worthy of being listened to by others, it is not the object to be proved, and because it is the occasion of thinking about proving. The opponent's desire to know is the occasion, because the very act of listening is the object to be proved. Therefore, if both rely on the treatise, then the meaning of the treatise will become the occasion, but not only the debater relies on it. Now, in order to show the other party that if the opponent wants to understand the general, then it is necessary to understand the particular, so it is said, "If by the particular," etc. Its meaning is: Because the particular abandons the general, if the particular is established, then the desired general itself will be established, and the
