Moreover, realizing the sign of self-nature relation itself is realizing what is to be proven. Therefore, if one says that a reason that harms the scriptures cannot realize what is known by the scriptures to be proven, then what should be said? If one thinks that because the aspect desired to be manifested by that scriptural knowledge has been eliminated by that reason. If there is no meaning, it will not appear, which is not seen. Because delusion is seen, scriptural knowledge is not accepted as a reason, so it is said to dispel this doubt: If some things in some treatises are unreasonable, therefore that reason should be refuted, why should you refute other reasonable reasons just because of that? If one who speaks unreasonably to Ishvara is prevented, if Ishvara becomes angry, then even a hundred who speak reasonably will be prevented, this is the custom of kings. For scriptural knowledge that avoids harming the scriptures, some cannot be established. Because one reversal seen from the scriptures pervades, even if it can become an establisher, if it will harm the scriptures, in order not to harm that scripture, it must be shown to pervade everything. If that cannot be done, then it is said: All things seen from the scriptures are made equal, and shown close to the example, it cannot be made a sign, because there is no pervasion of all visible dharmas in the treatise. Therefore, for all reasons, the establishment of what is to be proven and what proves scriptural knowledge will decline. Therefore, even if it harms the scriptures, it is a reason that abides in the scriptures and does not abide in the scriptures, therefore it does not depend on the scriptures. Therefore, the reason for saying "therefore" is that the reason can function without depending on the scriptures, therefore, what is relevant at the moment is what is to be proven, and harming what is to be proven is also contradictory, but harming what is not to be proven is not. Precisely because of this, what is to be harmed and what harms are not impermanence and the qualities of space itself, but establishing one. The accomplishment of the action, because it does not harm what is to be proven at the moment, is without contradiction. Even if there is no contradiction, if

If it is admitted to be contradictory because it harms the treatise. In terms of location, the meaning of "other" has two aspects: one is the location of other reasons, where the scriptures are harmed by other reasons; the other is that the subject of qualities such as smell harms the treatise in other locations. If this is done, the reason will become contradictory because there is no difference in the harm to the treatise. Even if the qualities of space, etc., are harmed in the very subject of qualities called "sound" of other reasons such as just arising, the "made" established for the purpose of impermanence will become contradictory, just as one's own harm is tolerated because it can tolerate the harm done by others. Similarly, just as harming the treatise for the subject of qualities at the appropriate time, harming the qualities of the earth, etc., for the subject of qualities such as smell at the inappropriate time will also become contradictory. By way of conclusion, if other reasons prevent the treatise, it will also become contradictory, which is considered particularly excellent, and therefore will not become repetitive. That is why it is said, "If it harms itself." The word "itself" is related to both. If the reason itself causes harm, the reason will become contradictory, but if the harm is caused by other reasons, then it is not contradictory. Similarly, if the subject of qualities itself at the appropriate time is prevented, the reason will become contradictory, but not if it is other than the subject of qualities. If the other subject of qualities such as smell is not to be proven, then its qualities are also not to be proven, because harming what is not to be proven is not contradictory. If asked: What are the faults and merits of all reasons? Then these should all be considered in relation to one's own object to be proven. If one is able to establish one's own object to be proven, the reason is meritorious, and if one eliminates it, then it is faulty. Even if that which can be established does not hinder one's own object to be proven, but it is admitted to be contradictory because it harms the treatise, if the harm to the treatise is caused by other reasons, then it will also become contradictory because the action itself exists on it.
