Then, it would follow that the nature is the same, and the nature of the support and place are not the same. For contradictory dharmas, there is no difference and they contradict each other. Similarly, everything previously said, such as being able to be seen and not being able to be seen, will appear. If it is said that relying on the support, the nature of being able to be seen and not being able to be seen is contradictory, then it is shown. Finally, it is concluded that, therefore, not observing like this, and the nature previously mentioned, is to establish the meaning of mutual contradiction. It is also unreasonable to accommodate contradictory dharmas in one thing, therefore, non-confused contradictions will generate doubt. If the unseen and the simultaneously manifested are related and not pervasive, and the two contradictions that are all-encompassing are not contradictions on things? Why does the author of the treatise say it? The answer is that because they are not directly contradictory, not observing and not being pervasive in relation to everything, and if all-encompassing does not exist, the unseen will not appear, so these two dharmas are declared. Therefore, non-confused contradictions are possible. For inferences related to things, this principle is not the case, because now it is necessary to take the dharma established by valid cognition. Just as contradictory things cannot exist on one thing, the things they pervade cannot exist on one thing, therefore, the things pervaded by certain things cannot exist on one thing. Therefore, here it is not the case for inferences related to things. Therefore, this non-confused contradiction enters through the power of commitment, not relying on things. So, how can the nature of being made be taken as an example of non-confused contradiction? This is to show a part. If the nature of being made is considered to be established through scriptural proof, then like sound, in order to serve as an example, this is only a part. Sound is permanent because it is audible. In this syllogism, there are three non-valid cognition things, namely: the sound itself different from the sound, recognized by root consciousness, and permanent. From these three non-valid cognition things, sound is permanent because it is audible, this valid cognition will be established. Therefore, close to

Even if stated, this is not because the third way, which is established by valid cognition, itself causes an obstacle. When stating what is already established, this is also impossible. Because this depends on scripture, and stating what is already established by things does not depend on scripture, therefore scripture should not be stated. Therefore, how can it be possible for what becomes an obstacle to what is already established itself? The sound itself possesses the qualities that have been spoken of, and is established by valid cognition. Even so, audibility itself and the permanence to be proven are related, the relation exists, but merely being simultaneous, audibility is permanent. In this way, these will not be established in a non-confused manner. Therefore, audibility itself is not an obstacle to what is already established, so this is only one aspect. Therefore, in the second chapter, the definition of reason, this is the argument, and the definitions of fallacious reasons are explained. Among them, the argument of reason itself has an example, so why is the definition of the example not explained? Answer: Because reason has three definitions, the example is not something to be stated separately from reason. If reason does not have three definitions, then why is the example not stated? Answer: It has been said that there are three definitions of reason. If it is thought that the meaning cannot be understood by just that, answer: The meaning to be proven can be understood by just that, because since it is so, therefore, the so-called example, as another branch of what is already established, does not exist, therefore the definition of the example is not stated separately, even if there is no other branch that can establish, but following the reason in similar and dissimilar instances, the valid cognition that can establish and harm is said to rely on the example, therefore its definition should be stated separately. If you say so, then it should not be stated, because the result of stating the example has already been established. The example itself can be known by knowing the definition of reason itself, and the need to state the definition is also to know it itself. In order to show how the example is known from the definition of reason, answer: Reason exists in the dissimilar side, and is separate from all dissimilar sides.
