Why is that? Because whatever prevents following the opposing side by saying "it is not like this," that itself is establishing the opposite, because they exist by mutually excluding each other. Therefore, this has concomitance and difference. Here, what cannot be expressed by the speech of a rational person is different by relying on non-existence because it does not rely on a basis or other. Because it is not permissible, it is not a separation from the absence of a contradictory side, so that very statement comes again. If there is no difference from non-existence, then how do you want to negate following non-existence? That same thing should be stated as the answer again. Difference is not other than preventing following. From this, it is also different, because difference is the negation of reason. That is also of two kinds: one is the negation of not projecting the nature of a thing, and the other is merely the negation of non-existence that does not depend on the nature of a thing. Among them, it is impossible to negate not being in contact with the nature of a thing with respect to non-existence. But how is it impossible to understand what is negated as non-existence? Like this, since everything is in contact with things, what can be used to negate that things are impossible for non-existence? The only negation that is not the object of negation. What then? It is also the negation of other non-existence, and that is not contradictory to the non-existence of things. Others said: The negation of non-existence is also impossible for non-existence. Why is that? Because it has the meaning of the difference of abilities such as the basis and the giving of truth, because it does not possess all those distinctions that show the object of negation that can be spoken. Whatever cannot be touched by the mind as the nature of the basis, etc., that itself cannot be expressed by words either. What has not been made an object by discrimination and words cannot be related to other establishments or negations. Since non-existence, which is devoid of all abilities, cannot be examined or expressed as the nature of the basis, etc., therefore, it is not related to other establishments and negations. If you say that, for this dispute, therefore, existence and non-existence are interdependent. External objects and non-dependence, for names and meanings, relying on this, here establishment and all

Now it is the intention. Having answered, it should be understood from there. Because whatever is definitely present in the conforming side, that must be the opposite of the non-conforming side, therefore, the reason of subsequent concomitance does not exist. Because contradiction depends only on the definite concomitance. If that is the case, if it is not that the non-conforming side follows, then the contradiction will also change, so it is said. Measurability itself is also not that the non-conforming side follows and is not possessed. How is that an infallible follower? How can measurability seen in things become non-things? Because it depends on both things and non-things, it has already been said that there are three kinds of dharma. Therefore, measurability itself is the dharma of both, so seeing it in things is not contrary to non-things. If non-things have some dharma, it would change like that, but it is also not existent. If dharma is the meaning to be indicated, then for the non-existent, it does not depend on anything, because that is impossible to be the basis. If you say that, then the one who speaks those words, with his own words, shows that he has admitted that non-existent things have dharma. For the statement "non-things have no dharma," the meaning of the object of discrimination to be expressed by the word "non" is the dharmata, is not that itself, which is separated from all the dharmas of things, its dharma? How do you say that the dharma of non-existent things itself is non-existent? If being separated from dharma is not non-dharma, how is that dharma? Because by what being separated from dharma does not become dharma, the very nature of things is not dharma. Why is non-thing also dharma and dharmata? Because even if it is non-existent, by some form of name, the words of dharma and dharmata are made its name. Because among those, some entities do not abandon other dependent dharmas, and make sound and understanding the object, and some abandon other dharmas. If it is not like that, then the dharma and dharmata of non-things, which are the objects of discrimination made by names.
