However, the distinction of differences here becomes inverted. Here, what is expressed by the sound of impermanence is established in one meaning but not in another. Therefore, what is expressed by the sound of impermanence, the meaning of existing without distinction, is extremely different. Therefore, here, the inversion of distinction is not present. If it is said that here, what is called non-manifestation is not the nature of non-seeing, and what is not applicable to function is not common to children and others, then those other Buddhas do not speak of the non-manifestation in the sense of abiding as impermanence. What then? They speak of impermanence as the destruction that occurs without following. Moreover, "if" is said to accomplish the common ground. "Destruction" means destruction without following. "Non-manifestation" means abiding as the nature of a pot. For both the proponent and the opponent, the non-manifest nature of impermanence and what is not applicable to function, what is expressed by the sound of impermanence, is common. For example, "produced by a cause" is like what is expressed by the sound of "made." If it is said that if this is the case, then non-manifestation becomes common, "how" is said to show that non-manifestation is not reasonable in the nature of immutability. "By this nature" means that non-manifestation is the nature of non-seeing, and that it is also impermanent. The chief is the nature of the three qualities. The person is the nature of the mind. The mention of "etc." means that the distinction of places, the nature of non-seeing, becomes impermanent. How is it that in the place of non-seeing, it was previously another dharma, that the nature of seeing is not manifest, and that the nature of non-seeing is impermanent, not just the nature of non-seeing? Let there be such non-manifestation, but what is previously another dharma and is the nature of being without loss, you have well explained each of these here. If it is said to be the nature of being without loss, how does the dharma of seeing revert? Therefore, such non-manifestation is not reasonable in the nature of immutability.

O, this is a limiting word. By stating that the previous dharma of imperishable self-nature has ceased, it is also explained that the cessation of the previous stage is also unreasonable. It is explained that what shows it is that which follows the cessation of the stage, like being unclear, is said to be the object of the sound of impermanence. Some Samkhyas who assert manifestation say that all things exist in the nature of power, so they should be manifested. Others who assert stages say that all things exist in the principal's pouch with all their self-nature, so they are invisible. By the power of conditions, they become visible as if they were taken out of the pouch. Therefore, the cessation of manifestation and the existence of power are not, but only the attainment of another stage. For this, the first Samkhya who asserts manifestation has been refuted. Now it is necessary to understand the view of asserting stages, because if so, then "it is so" and happiness, etc., will inevitably become different, and this inference will be explained until the very end. Through this manifestation, the view of the Vaisheshikas will become clear, but this treatise does not proceed by relying on it. For that Samkhya, what causes invisibility? That stage itself is both cessation and, because it exists in the principal's pouch, it is imperishable. If it is said that the stage of that pot, as the object of eye consciousness, is cessation like a cloth covering it, and the visible object with the stage is the stage itself, then, because it is unbearable to infer that having a stage and the stage are different, it is said, "What does the word 'stage' mean?" Others say that whatever changes is impermanent, which shows that the stage is a meaningless visible. The so-called "gathering clouds and taking," etc., refers to any kind of close combination. So, what is that kind of combination? It is explained that this world is directly perceived, that is, it is directly perceived, etc. This is a special attachment with the reason of direct perception. How is it attached? It is mixed like saying, "This is a pot." Therefore, like that, approaching and indicating with action, direct perception, and terms,

It is the place. Again, how is it established that the ability to act, etc., is the cause of the place? If that place disappears, even if other places do not disappear, all the ability to act, etc., do not exist. The ability to act, etc., is the cause of the place, but it is not the place of the cause of the place. If so, then the object of names, etc., that place itself is the pot. Why? Because, the pot that is spoken of is what is indicated by name, is close to the ability to act, and is especially clung to, as the nature of what is said is self-existent. That nature of the place also disappears, therefore, what exists without other places disappearing is: How can this exist without ability to act and without measure? It should be refuted and examined. Even if it exists, it will not become the real existence of the pot. Because there is a reason for establishment, it will become a false establishment, just like saying the water in a water jar is in the foot. Why will the pot not become real? Because that place does not have its nature. Connected with the special ability to act, and seeing the meaning with special characteristics is the pot, but that place is not like that, so it does not have its essence. Why does it not have its nature? Because the object seen and not seen is the same. Therefore, even if the pot disappears, what remains is the nature of the pot. How is it seen as different? Because it is related to other places, it appears as different, but the object itself is not different. If it is thought that the place is different, then why is the difference of the place itself not considered to be the nature of the difference of the object? If so, then happiness, suffering, and ignorance will undoubtedly become mutually different. If it is thought that the nature of the different place is the different object, then happiness is close to the ability to act of satisfaction, and the place of special characteristics is not seen in suffering, so the two are things.
