It is called that. Therefore, all sounds refer only to things, which is understood in the mind. Again, to refute another claim that sound is closely related to things, (the text says) "others" etc. "Itself" is called not referring to the cause. Then, how can it be distinguished from different kinds? (The text says) "The reason is" etc. If it is said that the reason itself, which cannot be understood from the sound, is the basis for distinction, then this is completely unexpressed, rather than saying that the distinction cannot be understood, this is called the characteristic of this itself. Now, what is said is the established conclusion: "That" is called, referring to both views. If sound is proven to refer to certain causes, then, in this case, it also refers to things with causes. This reference is proven from the power of things themselves, and not in other ways, because without expressing the cause, the distinction cannot be understood. However, if the cause is only understood from the sound, and not something to be expressed, then, if it is admitted that it is established through understanding, then the cause itself does not need to be expressed. In this case, the non-expression itself is also inevitable for rabbits. Because the reasoning is the same. The explanation is "if" etc. If the cause cannot be understood, then the sound will not refer to things with causes, this is called "sound". Understanding things with characteristics is because understanding characteristics will not become non-existent, and if there are no characteristics, how can it exist? Even if it exists, how can it become that the cause is not to be expressed? This is what "if" says. If distinguishing through cause is understood from the sound, then, in this case, the cause also exists in the mind, how can it not be what is to be expressed? It must be what is to be expressed. Where does this come from? "Things with causes" is called, referring to things themselves. That is called what is understood from the sound. Therefore, the cause is also to be expressed, this is his thought. Therefore, all sounds do not only refer to things themselves. However, "if" is called, referring to even if the sound understands both the cause and the thing with the cause, nevertheless, what is mainly understood is the thing with the cause itself. Because the world strives for that purpose, not for silk etc.

Therefore. If qualities are not what is expressed, then how is it understood? Answer: It is said, "Because without it, it does not arise." Then, by what is that not the main thing, by what will that be understood? Why? Answer: It is said, "Main and secondary." "By what" is said from the perspective of cause or object. "That" is the cause or object itself. Its meaning is to make one free from illness. "For its meaning" is for the harm of the abdomen. "Then, when is the object regarded as the main thing to understand?" Answer: The so-called "when." "Both" refers to the collection of object and quality. If now the sound appears in two ways, then how is it used merely by intention? Answer: To this it is said. "By this" it negates what is said that mere fame is not the cause of sound. Others should not be said, but will become distinctions, what is said is from "if also" to "is the distinguisher, if said." "That" is the reason. "How is it not what is expressed?" Answer: For example. "The crow is uncertain, so it should not be expressed by the word 'house'," what is said is "how." "Even without it" means even without the crow. "Therefore, according to logic, the crow should not be accepted, because expressing it with the word 'house' does not grasp it. Indicating people etc. should not be accepted," this is the connection. "The sounds of Brahmins etc. are not approached to express people etc., because they are the expressers of Brahmins etc. Promising to approach to indicate, rather than to express, because it is not appropriate to approach to indicate, so it is also not what is expressed," what is said is "by the crow." "That" is the house. "Why?" Answer: "That" is the crow. "Then, whose near indication is it?" Answer: "Manifestation of distinctions." "If it is not so" means if there is no reason for any god. Therefore, the crow
