A Commentary on the Ornament of Valid Cognition, the Extremely Pure Explanation, called Dzama Ri. A Commentary on the Ornament of Valid Cognition, the Extremely Pure Explanation. Dzama Ri. Pure and unsurpassed reasoning of various kinds, having explained the state of benefiting oneself without harm, the supreme state of benefiting others, one should speak of that which excels all beings. The state of the Bhagavan is of four kinds, namely, the state of cause, divided into two by the distinction of intention and application, and the state of result, also divided into two by the distinction of the perfection of benefiting oneself and others. Therefore, the chapters that show that are also only four. Among these, having made the ornament of two chapters from the Entering Treatise composed by the teacher, in order to make the ornament of the last chapter in the same way, what is said is the meaning of benefiting oneself, and so on. However, like the Samkhyas, when there is no inference for oneself, is it said that the inference for others is spoken? To dispel this doubt, it is said that the inference for oneself is the extremely certain reason of the three aspects, because that is the cause. That which is born from that is the hidden consciousness, which is immediately after that. If that is not there, then the nature of speaking of the reason of the three aspects does not speak of the inference for the benefit of others, that is its meaning. Why is that? Because the inference for oneself is the leader. If that is not the leader, then the inference for the benefit of others is not reasonable. That is its meaning. Thus, when the Samkhyas explain the observed three aspects, they will say that it is not the inference for the benefit of others. Here, it is considered in this way, how is inference, the cause and effect of that is said to be inference in words, thus, that is not direct perception and its cause and effect, therefore direct perception is not spoken. Words are the cause of inference, therefore it is also the inference for the benefit of others, not the direct perception for the benefit of others, because it is not the cause of that, thus that will immediately be shown. Conceptual thought is the basis and result of names.

It is also in this way. Therefore, how can one clearly express "This is a running deer" in the words of another language? If someone wants to express the order here, then he should first state the inference understood by himself, and then state the inference understood by others. It is like first stating the general characteristics and then explaining the special characteristics. If the order is expressed, then there is no need to present the reason, just as before. If someone says that the reason was not presented there because it was easy to understand, then it would be the same here, so what is the use of presenting the reason? It has already been shown that the order does not contradict everything. Therefore, it is better to explain according to the situation and order. In the sense of wanting to express the order, it has already been explained at the beginning of proving validity. If that is the case, in what form does the inference understood by others exist? In order to eliminate this doubt, it is explained by expressing the characteristics that exist in the teacher's mind. That is, after the inference understood by oneself. The inference understood by others is that it exists in the state of making what one sees very clear, not in making what others see very clear through scriptures, etc. What one sees is the sign with three modes seen through validity, which is presented very clearly. Through the explanation of "when it makes it clear," words and so on can be understood. The explanation of this is that "one's own" refers to the debater and so on. Therefore, it is said that the debater and the refuter are "one's own." When the debater shows by stating the correct argument, the refuter must show by stating the incorrect error. When the debater shows by stating the correct error, the debater must show by stating the incorrect argument. Therefore, the debater and the refuter, what must be shown and what shows, all depend on "one's own makes it very clear." What do they use
