Why is that? Because it is "sound." Here, (sound) is acknowledged as both expressing its own nature and as the expresser itself, so it is merely expressing, not ultimately. What will become of this? This is what is said, "these." Are they the consciousness of hearing and the consciousness of discrimination? Are they the consciousness of hearing and the consciousness of sight? Therefore, the connection is not manifest. If it says "if" etc., then it is other. What is said there is for grasping the connection. For smell and things with smell, etc., also, how will it be like that? It follows like this. The answer is, there also, for fire and smoke, etc., there is also the fault of not understanding the connection manifestly. What is said there is the inability to understand the connection between the sound and meaning of the manifest. For fire and smoke, etc., because there is something grasped by sense consciousness, it is reasonable to say that grasping the connection is reasonable. This is what is said, "those." If one thinks that it will change in the same way for the things to be expressed, etc., then here it is said, "for this." Because it is not grasped, one wonders how one can grasp the connection with sound. However, the meaning of sound and pot, etc., is grasped by sense consciousness. Therefore, if one thinks that just like fire and smoke, their connection is also grasped through the manifest, then it is not so. Just as fire and smoke, although they have no actual connection, can be grasped, sound and meaning are not like that, and it will be shown that way. In reality, there is no grasping of connection at any time, this is what is said, "universally, the connection also." Then, how is it non-deceptive speech? It said "sound." Therefore, because there is no non-appearance. What is said here is the connection. Therefore, the appearing sound and connection cannot become manifest. The possibility itself cannot become manifest, thus it abides. If it says "if," this is welcoming doubt. Because there is no reason, how can other inferences harm it? If it says "if it exists," this is what is said. In order to show that all inferences that prevent possibility are not common, it is said that the existence itself that completely pervades is not common, this is what is said, "for whom."

The side that possesses power exists, this is the reason. What can refute it is that fame arising from sound causes harm. To strive for this, that is, to strive for refutation, is intolerable for non-universality other than that. Precisely because of this, it is to show that all reasons are not common. If it is not like that, then it has not shown that all reasons are not common. Or, if approaching to establish. What is harmed by valid cognition is precisely non-audibility. The answer is, here also, what is harmed by valid cognition is that the one with a rabbit is not the moon. If it is like that, the reason cannot exist. This is fame arising from sound. Becoming a fallacy means approaching to establish the reason, thinking that it should be shown that even audibility cannot be negated. Relying on the absence of a harmer is precisely non-thingness, because the thing-possessor himself is the harmer, this is the explanation of "from sound." Therefore, it is because of non-thingness. Therefore, for this non-thingness, showing that there is no antidote is faultless. The subsequent inference that enters by the power of things. If one wonders how to explain "for those established by inference," for what reason is the root cause pursued in that way, therefore the explanation is made. That is also a convention. This meaning itself refers to the meaning of showing the entry that is to be stated in all places. Otherwise, it means that the entry to be stated in all places is not shown. Saying that there is no fault of mutual dependence is because merely the sound-born name, the entry is not unestablished, because there is no obstacle to the intention, so it is established. From oneself means not relying on the absence of inference. Existence, if it is not valid cognition, is also for oneself, and not relying on not harming the fame arising from sound. Therefore, there is no fault of mutual dependence. That refers to the fame arising from sound. If it exists, why is the fame arising from sound not an obstructer? The answer to this is, it is not like that. To say
