If asked, is it to be established? The answer is, even so. If asked, how does it contradict? The answer is, not saying. Doing is words. This itself is not examined. Why is that? Because it is said that it has been well examined. This avoids preventing the past words from not being valid. If asked, what does saying this do? It means, what does saying "This is a lie I made" do, it should not be said in the first place. It should not be said in the first place. If you think, then does it prevent the words that will be produced in the future from not being valid? The answer is, for what is to come. If, at that time, you say it yourself and then prevent it? At that time, it will prevent the present, and the fault has already been said for that too. For the words that are to come, there is no listener, so what is the use of saying "This is a lie I said"? What does the dancer do? His dancing words are the difference of the song, even if there is no listener, he enters to drive away laughter, just like that, the words saying "I am a liar" also enter, is there no fault? No, because it is the time of debate. Debate is not speaking without a rebuttal, so how can this be used as a metaphor? Why is that? Because it is a debate. That is to show that the word is not valid. The meaning here is, whatever is said with discrimination to make others understand, that is based on the premise of admitting that it has a true meaning, such as saying "Everything I say is a lie." There are no valid measures with measurable meanings, and this sentence is also said with discrimination. Therefore, the vow that it is not a valid measure is broken by one's own words. If one is not a valid measure, words cannot enter, just like that, if that treatise is not accepted, then the meaning that is famous from the treatise cannot be examined, and it will become such a result. If it is said together to show similarity, then what is the use of saying more? Same

In order to show, or rather for the purpose of showing, this treatise itself, Whatever is stated together with its own words, the treatise is only at what time. From the perspective of distinguishing analysis, through establishing the subject, the treatise itself is the basis. Only then will it harm the opposite dharma, but not at other times. This is done to show this reason. If not, the words of the treatise itself will be understood as having additional abilities. If so, or according to other people's views, even if it is the basis at the time of distinguishing analysis, it will still cause harm. Previously, only similarities were stated. It is said to be the doubt of joint statement. Now, the necessity of stating similarities is also that if it is only the basis at that time, the treatise will cause harm, but not at other times. Saying that the necessity of joint statement is a distinction. Explaining this itself means "if". If not, what will happen? It means "if not jointly stated". The other party refers to intelligent people and so on. Like that, it will itself become an additional ability. In order to avoid this necessity, it is shown that one's own words and treatises should be expressed with credible words. After making a commitment, if it contradicts it, it will harm it. For example, saying "there are no valid means with measurable meaning", etc., the examples of one's own words and treatises are similar, saying "therefore", because establishment and establishment are the same. From where can this be known? It means "means, etc.". Because establishment and establishment are the same. If you deny valid means, your own words are unreasonable. How to understand the treatise? It means "if you deny valid means". Not only one's own words, but also the treatise. Therefore, what is the treatise? Why not accept the commitment? Therefore, there will only be mutual contradictions, not commitments. If you commit Neither has abandoned valid means. Therefore, the treatise will only cause harm. The language of the treatise and one's own

If the words contradict, it is a contradiction with the treatise. For example, in order to eliminate the doubt that "this example is not like that," it is said, "eliminating the contradiction of one's own words." That refers to contradicting the treatise. To show that contradicting the treatise is not an example of elimination, it says "if." Then, one might think, "How does it contradict one's own words?" Therefore, it says, "If any valid means." "If" refers to others. "The answer is 'from where'." Even so, it also means contradicting one's own words. Or one might think, "It is only established from that, that is not a valid means," therefore, it says "the measurable." Or one might think, "It will become merely non-existent," therefore, it says, "If there is no valid means." "This" refers to the absence of valid means with the meaning of the measurable. Then, one might think, "When does this contradict the treatise?" Therefore, it says "if," that is, if one promises that the treatise is a valid means, and then says that there is no valid means with the meaning of the measurable, then, at that time, it will contradict the treatise, because it will not contradict the treatise, so there is no such fault. The reason for saying "therefore" is because of not understanding. One might ask, "How is this an example of elimination?" Therefore, it says, "For this kind of object." "Here" refers to the treatise. If one promises that both the treatise and one's own words are valid means, if that is the case, then "then" is entering the Commentary on Valid Cognition (Pramāṇavārttika). "Because it is a valid means" means because it is promised to be a valid means. The Brahmin says that for the subject—sound is established by valid means, the assertion of impermanence is harmed by the treatise, because they think so, so they say it according to their thoughts. "For the subject" refers to the nature of the subject. "That promise" refers to establishing non-happiness, it will become harming the establishment of happiness spoken of in the treatise, why? Because it obstructs it, that is, it obstructs the establishment of happiness. This says that in order to return from permanence, one's own words are harmed by the treatise. Here refers to the answer to the second debate. Among them, non-basis means not established from the treatise, that is,
