It is called "only inference," meaning that the cause of inference is the valid means of cognition, not the cause of inference, not by its own nature. The cause of inference, as the cause of the nature sign, is also not lacking. For the words of definition, all words are inference, and there is no need to show it in this way. Therefore, in the inference for others, the inference of the cause is impossible, but there is no harm to the words of definition, this is his thought. Because there is nothing else that can clearly show except for the sign with three characteristics, how can showing the three characteristics become inference? This is appropriate, because that is the cause and also the result, this is his thought. In fact, the display of the sign that is completely examined by the Samkhyas is not inference, this is certain. The question raised by the person who declares the Vedas after seeing that the Vedas are not valid means of cognition is "Is it?" The answer is "It is also there," not only showing the three characteristics, but also the Vedas. Showing the things of direct perception is with the word "especially." Others refer to things that are very beyond the senses, such as heaven. Welcoming the doubt is, if the Vedas are valid means of cognition for things beyond the senses because they are not made by humans? The answer is "no," this is a prohibition. Why? Because there is no credibility. If it is a valid means of cognition, it must be certain, but things beyond the senses are not certain from the Vedas. Or thinking that the Vedas are certain for things beyond the senses, just like direct perception, then it is "if." If all things beyond the senses cannot be understood from the Vedas, this is the time, because it depends on the agreement, what should be done? Direct perception does not depend on the agreement to show things, and similarly, the Vedas will also change. The other party said "momentary," and the word "etc." includes selflessness etc. Welcoming the doubt that the other party becomes a Buddha is "because of delusion," if it is thought that momentariness etc. are not understood by inference, then it is repeated: here also.

It is called 'Veda'. This shows the equality of inference and the Vedas. The answer is 'inference'. Existence itself is the dharma, and it is used to prove momentariness, etc., in things like sound. It is also associated with momentariness in examples of similar things like pots, and inference arises from this. Similarly, existence itself is the basis of certainty and trust, that is, 'existence itself will not be without momentariness'. Therefore, for inference, the sign called 'inference' is used to prove momentariness, and sometimes it eliminates the mistaken idea that 'it may exist even without momentariness'. Therefore, inferring momentariness from existence is valid. If the Vedas also change in this way? The answer is, for the Vedas, it arises from the language of fire offerings, etc. Words of the same kind do not eliminate errors. Words of the same kind as the Vedas are to prove the true meaning, and for this, there is no valid measure that hinders elimination. Therefore, determining the Vedas does not eliminate errors because it is uncertain. Therefore, these two are not the same. What shows the dissimilarity is the word 'following', etc. Therefore, following is the cause, that is, the sign related to what is to be proven. Therefore, because it is related, inference itself is valid, otherwise it is not. The relationship with what is to be proven can only be determined from validity. For the Vedas, there is no seeing related to meaning. Previously it was called two thousand five hundred. This is said after acknowledging the aspect dharma. That is also not existence, and for the non-man-made, it is not understood merely by refuting, in order to show this meaning, so it is said 'or'. For that, it is the Vedas. If you ask where it comes from, the answer is that for that, it is the Vedas. Aspect dharma refers to the absence of the dharma of objects beyond the senses, because it is considered a man-made dharma. How is it true?

English

If it is thought that the meaning itself does not follow, it is said thus. Rejection is the word of the Vedas. Not following is because there is no concordant aspect. Even if following is admitted, in order to show that the desired manifestation cannot be achieved, the welcoming of doubt is the word "if". The answer is the word "it is said here". Or, if it is said that twelve months are a year, whether truth and following exist or not in this, even so, what will come from the language of fire offerings etc.? If it is said that it is also the Vedas, so it is truth and following. It is not, because there is no certainty. If it is said that it is the Vedas because it is not made by a person. Some say that this language that manifests as the Vedas is also suspected to be made by a person. It is not only non-Vedic. Why? Because it may be made by some people. If the Vedas are made, how can they not be made by a person? This refers to the language of fire offerings etc. Saying that this doubt is not without seed is "in some places". "Such" refers to the made. "Because there is no trust" means that because there is no measure, if one remembers, that is such a name, one cannot trust, that is the meaning. From other aspects, "also" refers to in young boys etc., also such a name, if one remembers it, because it would become too much. What has been explained is in the first chapter of the commentary etc. Therefore, the sign of the three aspects itself is considered to be the sound seen by oneself. It is not subsequent thought etc., because there is no clarity. If the meaning seen by the other party is the meaning of the sign of the three aspects, then saying meaningless words is the word "if". The prohibition is the word "no". It is the meaning of the nature of eliminating distorted understanding, because where does the meaning seen by oneself exist for other necessities? Therefore, if the sign of the three aspects is spoken, it also depends on the explanation, although it eliminates distorted understanding.
