It is the opponent's own refutation. That which is established by reasoning is the subject, this is the occasion. It is for both, that is, for the refuter and the re-refuter. If that which is established by reasoning is not the subject, then what is the subject? Therefore, it is said. That, is by the nature of the distinction. That is the general. If it is so, from "If it is so" to "what?" is the argument. That which is not established, for that which is not established by direct perception, inference will also be completely absent, thus it is connected. Why? Because inference is. Likewise, etc., is the statement of the second argument. How? Harm has been mentioned. Among them, first refuting the first argument, that is, inference is. Then how is it that direct perception is the antecedent? However. That, the general negation, whatever direct perception is the object of that, if that is not there, then inference does not arise there, thus it is connected. Why? Because inference is. The generality of fire, etc., that negation, that is, whatever its own characteristic is, for that, the arising of direct perception is the antecedent. If there is any fault in the generality of direct perception being the antecedent itself? If. What is the use of generality and inference? Because the undifferentiated generality is established only by direct perception. What is the generality in which direct perception does not arise? The own characteristic has been mentioned. Why? Because the distinction is not understood. Because of what is it so? The object of direct perception is not inference, this is also the meaning of this. If it is oneself? Because inference is. That, is the generality of the nature just mentioned. Then how is one's own characteristic understood? Fire is, that is, the nature of one's own characteristic. If the general is not grasped by direct perception, how can inference be made because there is no understanding of pervasion? Universally designated, etc., has been said before. This has refuted the first argument, stating the refutation of the second, that is, the subject. This is it.

That which is called "is" is what has just been said. If asked, "How is it?" the answer is, "It is called 'the opposite of that,'" and so on. If anything manifestly harms the side, how can eliminating harm universally harm? The answer is, "For anything." If asked, "How is the prohibition eliminated?" the answer is, "It is called 'the opposite of the prohibition.'" Eliminating what is to be heard, that is, the nature of what is to be heard, whatever is prohibited is not to be heard. That is to say, hearing itself is the antidote to non-hearing through its own means, and not through anything other than the object of hearing. Why? Because others are not contradictory to it. If it says "if," etc., that is other. If asked, "Why is it that what has become manifest is not the object of inference and sound?" the answer is, "Precisely for that reason." Because of clinging to one, the manifest may be eliminated by inference. Therefore, this is counteracted by stating unrelated things themselves, because from the point of view of inference, there is no prohibition of what is eliminated anywhere. Therefore, there is no fault of "how to eliminate with manifest inference." To summarize the relevant content, it is said, "Therefore, the subject." If asked, "Then how to eliminate that the subject itself is the side?" the answer is, "It has been said that 'that is the established subject.'" If it is thought that it can also be eliminated by two definitions, the answer is, "Because it is the reason." The opposite is the remainder, meaning too broad. Other than the definition of the side, it is the definition of the reason. That which is called "that" is the fault that has already been abandoned, even if it has not been abandoned. It is merely being separated from self-speech. What is the use of other self-speech? Why? The answer is, "Whatever is in meaning." If it is said, "If self-speech cannot eliminate being too broad," the answer is "if." If asked, "Then what is used to eliminate non-pervasiveness?" the answer is, "It has been said, 'with the sound of intention.'" Other, meaning what has already been distinguished, is distinguished through distinction. To remember the statement for what has not been distinguished, it is said, "if." Showing the thing that is being established itself, being connected to the thing to be established, will become a fault, for this purpose, that is, to eliminate other faults. That which is called "that"
