It is called "Intention." The commentary on the Ornament of Logic, the sixty-sixth chapter, refutes the intention of other schools as also being valid, because only other schools will accept and reject, so what is the use of mentioning oneself? If you say so, then it is "if." If the opponent's intention is harmed by validity, then this is the context. This also means that inability and unnecessaryness are themselves faults. Intention does not harm impermanence itself, because it is not contradictory. Non-contradiction is also because if there is no intention to compose a treatise, it will not arise. What is not to be proven is the intention to compose a treatise, because if there is none, it will not arise. Even if there is none, it will not fail to arise, but if intention is to be proven from the treatise, it will be endless, because all reasons will be denied. Explaining the concise statements such as "there is no harm to intention" is "from the treatise." "Is to be proven" is the quality of space itself. If it is proven, it is if the quality of space is proven. Therefore, "this is not" is a refutation of "if so" and so on. Thus, by eliminating wrong understanding, it is to dispel the place of doubt, therefore, it shows that saying oneself is not meaningless. Because some of one's own schools will become the fault of not being established. If one tries to prove with the subject established by the scriptures, it is impossible. Therefore, in order to understand that one should completely abandon it and take the subject established by validity, it is said that oneself is for this purpose, this is "scriptures." "By others" is when it is established by the treatise. If the discriminating observation depends on things, because what is established from the scriptures is not a thing, so it is not established, then wouldn't it become oneself? For that purpose, what is the use of saying oneself? This is "observation itself." Because it has been done, this proof is combined to prove the desired object to be proven, so it is for the sake of one's own establishment that the subject established by validity is abandoned.

Saying "because the desired goal cannot be achieved by relying solely on treatises," this is called "examining one's own tenets." "Its own nature" refers to whatever becomes a dharma characteristic by virtue of its own nature. "Is" refers to dharma characteristics such as sound. "Doubt" refers to "could it be." Therefore, the nature of sound is not differentiated, therefore, it is possible to argue for it, so it is thought that only the attribute of space is established. "Answer" refers to "then." "Unestablished difference," what is the use of even taking the attribute of space? "Like that" refers to the sound itself with the unestablished difference. There, because the sound with the attribute of space does not have impermanence, in reality, because the meaning is not sought, the words of the refuter are meaningless, thus connecting them. What do you want to say? It is having the attribute of space. If it is established from the words of the refuter, then why are the words of the refuter meaningless? Because it is said "from that," it is only a proposition. "That" refers to what is not desired, because the impermanence with the attribute of space is not established. Explaining the latter half is "thinking." "From that," the explanation of "that" is "unwilling." If it can be established merely by making a proposition, what is the fault? "If that is the case." "Like that" refers to the impermanence itself with the attribute of space. "This" refers to the differences produced by the treatise, etc., are not. The other party says, it is not said that it can be established by stating oneself, but, saying "the dharma characteristic is established, it is not to be argued," this is called "why." The established boundary also says that it can be established by the words that hinder the establishment of its own nature, this is called "showing one's own nature." "That" refers to the dharma characteristic that is to be argued, because it has already been understood, so the effort to understand is fruitless, that is the meaning. Want to know how to understand through this, like this. If there is no distinction, then the difference is meaningless. Therefore, for the dharma characteristic with the nature of establishment and the arguer
