Therefore, regarding the sunrise and sunset phenomena associated with this certainty, to ascertain those very familiar places without confusion, one must be very familiar. If one wonders how this is so, it is the so-called "Gunga Village" and so on. Villages and Gungala and so forth are always associated with continuous focus. The so-called "familiarity" itself, because of familiarity, declines or becomes complete. The so-called "this" is the direction indicated by the sun. The so-called "meaning" is because it is free from characteristics such as east and west. If someone asks, how is it free from the meaning of east and west, etc.? If its own nature is uncertain, then how can it be called that? However, the so-called "however." The way of following the departed is the way of following the departed. Therefore, those things whose minds have declined, their essence is it. However, the concepts of east and west, etc., are beginningless. Therefore, if someone thinks that because it is related to meaning, it is only true, then, the so-called "if." If, because it is beginningless, one does not accept that the cognitions of east and west, etc., are true, then at that time it will become not acknowledging the existence of an omniscient one, therefore, those cognitions will also become true. If that is the case, then all worldly cognitions will become valid, because they are beginningless. If it is true because it is beginningless, then, for those who do not want freedom or a ruler, it will also lead to the conceptualizations of freedom, etc., becoming true, which is the so-called "freedom." If someone thinks this is an object, then it is merely a name, it is empty in essence. However, if someone thinks that because the treatises are beginningless, they are true, therefore, the names that come from them are only true, then "beginningless" is said. Why? Because the names such as "mutual" etc., are what are placed. For what purpose? For the purpose of names. The term for the inner shore direction is the so-called "agent." If someone thinks that if there is no time, then how does this thing become having present time? How does it become a different name? The so-called "different." If

By what is the nature of things that closely reveals differences shown, which will become the manifestation of expressions such as time? If it is thought, how is it established that time is non-existent? Thus it is said. If it is established that it has occurred, if deities and the like exist in times that transcend cognitions such as 'it has occurred,' then even from the conceptualizations such as 'that time has occurred,' time will also exist in another time. Similarly, other times will also exist in other times, therefore there is no end. Direction is also the same, the nature of east and so on is its own essence, but it is not dependent on other places, thus it is connected. Therefore, the dharma that has become its own essence is nominally established in this way by difference. Showing the manner of nominal designation is, 'East is,' thus it is said. 'That and,' thus it is said, is related to time and so on. If the past of time depends on things, then the past of things will also depend on time. If that is so, what is the fault? 'Mutually,' thus it is said. 'Even one,' thus it is said, neither time nor things will exist in the past. The question here is, 'If,' thus it is said. Long past things and times are simultaneously past, not gradually producing the fault of mutual dependence. The answer is, the past has no end, thus it is connected. How is there no end? 'Simultaneously,' thus it is said. 'Two,' thus it is said, are long past things and times. Therefore, how can they simultaneously become past to each other, thus it is thought. The question is, 'Those,' thus it is said, the simultaneously long past things and times are past to others. The answer is, 'Even to that,' thus it is said. What is past by others is also from other than that, and that also from other than that, therefore the past has no end. Therefore, time and so on are only non-existent. Therefore, the nature of closely revealing differences is precisely what is manifested by the expression of time and so on, thus it abides. Thus, while refuting space, places and times are refuted. Also, saying that time has no qualities is 'other also,' thus it is said. It is the same for self and so on.
