It speaks of refuting the assertion that there is no sky as perceived by others, which is called "if." If someone wonders what the sky is in conventional truth, it is "hole." If someone wonders why this is called sky, it is "without hole." Therefore, in terms of conventional truth, the sky is merely the absence of anything else. If someone does not consider the hole to be the sky, but considers it to be something else, then this will lead to error, which indicates "when..." "Without hole" means, when there is an object with an edge, where is the sky that is the characteristic of the hole? Even if it does not exist, it also means that there is no noticing of what comes out of the lungs. It is related to the gap of the object. Otherwise, it is in the lungs. It itself refers to something with an edge. "Contradictory" means that because the sky itself is the hole. In other places, that is, where there is no hole. If it is not like that, that is, there is no sky there. That refers to the object that makes it without a hole. Eliminating it by analyzing the established conclusion is called "why." "From where" refers to from cloth, etc. That refers to vases, etc. If cloth, etc. do not exist, then vases, etc. will become obstacles. From other places than that, it refers to the sky other than the four great elements. There is no imputed valid cognition. Or, connect that there is neither imputation nor valid cognition. If someone thinks that it will not harm the object, then it is said "through this." The word "etc." includes all objects of cognition such as the East. If the object is universally present, like the sky, that is not a case of distinction. If someone wonders why the East, etc. are not objects of cognition, it is "like this." If it is admitted that the object is universally present, then the West, etc. will not be cognized because there is no difference. From other places, that is, from places that are not universally present, it will also not become the name of the West, etc., and the paths of these two objects are blocked, and they do not exist. That is because it is inferred that there is no West, etc. Otherwise refers to those who have reached the other shore. The nature of both refers to the nature of East and West. Becoming like that refers to the West, etc.

Saparro. This clarifies what is called a person, and so on. Others say, "If it is like this." 'That' refers to clarifying the object. 'This' means 'mutual,' which is the meaning of refuting. 'Just that' means that things themselves are merely interdependent. To refute the fault of mutual dependence is 'if.' For example, if the term 'straight' exists independently without relying on 'crooked,' then 'crooked' becomes something completely different. Similarly, even if changes like 'east' exist independently without relying on an object, the object must be another change. That is what is meant to be expressed. There, it also refers to straightness. Seeing straightness with discriminating wisdom arises from the difference of depending on crookedness. Then, if one thinks, 'How can one say "This is straight" without relying on crookedness?' Therefore, it is said 'from.' 'Without other' means without crookedness, etc. This clarifies 'like this,' and so on. Even without the dependent crookedness, etc. Therefore, because of mutual dependence, wood is irreversible, so one should not examine other objects. The opponent asks, 'How is this known?' That is, how is it established that the thing itself knowing east, etc., is the cause? The answer is, 'In other places as well.' The thing itself is the cause of determining the distinction of the object, which shows 'like this.' If even so, one thinks that direction is determined through stars, etc., then, stars, etc. Why not do special thinking? Like this. Even from causes, etc., the distinction of direction is not determined, saying 'That is not.' 'Other' seems to be lost, but the east, which is close to the sun, etc., is not manifested by the power of the sun, this is the connection. Who does one think it does not appear to? To those who are confused about direction. To those individuals whose minds are confused about direction, to them. What is clarified is 'like this.' To the mind that is not confused about towns and monasteries, etc.
