In general, even if there is no object, it is so. If it is said that it is only the reason of non-object, then it is because the pervasiveness of mere separation cannot be observed. The so-called "that," mere separation is related to any subject. Because in general it is not an object, it is not related to the establisher and that mere separation. The so-called "how is the to-be-established the establisher," that is because the basis is not established. Therefore, the basis is not established, meaning that for an object, the three characteristics themselves are not established. Someone thinks that mere separation is not a reason. Then what is it? The other party points out that the separation of nature related to other appearances is the reason, which is "however." The so-called "also at that time" is the edge of establishment. Therefore, the so-called "must" means that stating the opposite of that is good. Others refer to non-Buddhists. What others have promised is what Buddhists have promised. If Buddhists prove to non-Buddhists the exclusion of others, because the appearance is exhausted in one, if it is not proven pervasively, then its establishment is not proven. Because non-Buddhists think that excluding others is not pervasive. Buddhists say "only non-acceptance," which is "another." The so-called "suitable for proving non-existence" is the doubt of others. The so-called "no," etc., is the answer. If wood and sapwood, etc., are established in such a nature, because the wood of the pervasive place cannot be observed, when recognizing that there is no sapwood, in order to prove the wood itself, the sapwood itself is the fundamental reason. Just as the pervasiveness of the near realm cannot be indicated as unobservable, is it the same here? Because the pervasiveness of the pervasive place cannot be observed, returning from the dissimilar aspect, or because it is exhausted in one appearance, or because it is pervasive, proving the nature of the self in that way will become the fundamental reason, not the unobservability of the pervasive place. The so-called "by its power" is the power of grasping the connection in a following manner. The so-called "merely indicating non-existence" is because the pervasive place cannot be observed. It is not the fundamental reason.

The so-called "earth" refers to the pervasive non-apprehension. This refers to: even if those do not exist, it does not exist, because it can be understood from the statement. The phrase "because it can be understood from the statement" means: it shows that the statement is made based on the non-apprehension of the pervasive function that does not show the place. When proving existence, it should be understood that this is the way. If it says "if" it refers to others. "Not only does it make the argument understood, but the non-apprehension of the pervasive function is also the fundamental reason. The so-called "separately determined" refers to showing the place. If that is so, then "if that is so" is the answer. The so-called "here" refers to places and so on. The so-called "other" refers to the generality of existing things. The so-called "also here" refers to the "also" in the proof of "because of separation." The so-called "commonality of things and non-things" refers to generality. The so-called "other" refers to the absence of difference from things and non-things, because it does not exist for things and non-things. The cow itself will definitely become the nature of things or the nature of non-things. For the cow itself of the nature of things, there is no other common nature, because "there is no generality on generality" is the doctrine. In order to avoid the suspicion that the reason "because there is no other" is not established, it is said to be "discrimination." For things and non-things that exist in the external environment, the appearance of discrimination is not common, this is its meaning. The answer is "if that is so." When proving that for the dharma that appears in discrimination, it is not the proximate cause of things, it is only the non-apprehension of appearance, not the non-apprehension of pervasive function. You should establish the non-apprehension of pervasive function itself as the fundamental reason to establish the doctrine. Therefore, what is this way of "eating others and vomiting others"? Non-apprehension is the non-apprehension of appearance. The so-called "other" refers to the "other" in relation to the non-apprehension of pervasive function. After that, the view of Dharmakirti is "is." The summary is "therefore." The so-called "here" refers to being separated from the general appearance of the dharma. The so-called "because of separation" is fundamental.
