I, that is, is not this. Not realizing the nature of pervasion in many eliminations, one will not realize the general in that way. Therefore, the nature of the general is not established. The so-called "general" refers to the statement. The so-called "in one or the other" refers to the nature of non-pervasion. Regarding this, first focusing on and refuting it is "in pervasiveness." Setting forth the second situation and eliminating it is "however." If it is like that, what fault is there? The answer is: "If so, then." The so-called "difference of other eliminations" refers to the general. The so-called "how to realize" refers to direct perception. If it is said: Is the way of realizing in this way only direct perception? The answer is: "This itself." Taking "because it is general" as the reason, the conclusion that is not established is "therefore." Summarizing the nearby context is "therefore." The non-embodied itself is not the establisher, because it is confused. It is also not the general, because it is not established. If the other party has no establisher for it, then what is the valid means that harms the Buddha? The answer is: "Also by direct perception." This is to say harm by the non-appearance of appearance. The so-called "if" is the debate. The so-called "establishing non-pervasiveness" is by the establisher of "because it is the ultimate of a single appearance." That, refers to the general. The dharma is non-pervasiveness itself. The so-called "that" is the answer. The so-called "root" does not depend on the acceptance of others. Clarifying that is "you," that is, intellectuals and so on. The so-called "direct perception and those," refers to inference. The so-called "other" refers to non-difference. The so-called "form itself" refers to the arrangement of limbs. Form is not general, because it is not pervasive. If it is said: But form is only focused on pervasiveness? The answer is: If so, how is it not pervasive? The answer is: It is said "in pervasiveness." Clarifying the meaning of this is "is it so," that is, even if it is focused on pervasiveness. Therefore, form is not the general that is focused on. Saying that this reason is also not unestablished, form is apparent.

Because it is self-nature, if it is established, then its aspect of self-nature is also definitely established. Therefore, the statement made to prove that "the ultimate nature of a clear reason" is not pervasive is not "the basis is not established." If in this school, the view that "the subject is not established" has been abandoned, then the question of "how" belongs to others. For the school that is the aspect of a generality, it must also have the nature of the school, therefore it possesses the three characteristics. If someone says, "This is not the way to establish a counter-argument," then, if asked, "Why is this not the way to establish it?" the one who speaks of the established limit will say, "The opponent says so." One debater says, "The characteristic of shape, the aspect itself is a generality," while other reasonings say, "Other than the aspect is a different kind." Therefore, assuming that it is in the case of asserting that generalities are different, the counter-argument can be established, because "the basis is not established." If considering the case of asserting non-difference, then it is only the establishment of self-nature. In this way, for the time being, according to any view, the statement "because it is the ultimate nature of a clear one" is the establishment of a counter-argument, this is the establishment of the thesis. In order to refute "the ultimate nature of a clear one," if it needs to be proven, then the proof of the statement "because it is pervasive," since it is not established in the view of both debaters, therefore it is to show that this is a counter-argument, or rather. Saying that the statement "because it is pervasive" is contradictory is because it involves multiple situations. And this is also not established in both schools. The rest explains that refuting "the only one is the ultimate" is a counter-argument. Saying "the reverse is the fundamental reason" is also aimed at "excluding the ultimate one," because it has been established. If the proof of the counter-argument itself is not a proof, then what needs to be determined? The counter-argument says so. The statement made to refute the views of Dharmakirti and others is "the others are." The statement "because of separation" is a section of the text of the Pramāṇavārttika. It is related to the following content, that is, "that is established." When is it?
