If it is said that what is not pervasive dharma also becomes contradictory or uncertain as a reason, then it is called "that." Reversal is pervasive because it is the opposite of what is to be established. The so-called "other" refers to the uncertain connection with what is to be established. If asked: How contradictory and uncertain? The so-called "pervasive dharma" is a different sound, and similarly, why not recognize what is not established? Therefore, it is called "therefore." For how contradictory and so on, there is a different sound of "pervasive dharma," and similarly, it is not for what is not established, however, the commonality of what is not established is only not pervasive dharma. This is also the sound of category, and the sound of pervasive dharma is not the category of contradiction and uncertainty, because the correct establisher is also not pervasive dharma. If it is said that because it is not the establishment of one's own nature, the establisher should be called by my own name, then how should the dharma-nature not being established and so on be called like that? It is called "dharma-nature." The so-called "non-establishment itself" is even if it is not pervasive dharma. In any case, the road that has been established is the road that has been established, thus following. These are also not distinguished by the sound of pervasive dharma, this is its meaning. The so-called "both" refers to the proponents and opponents. Because it is called by establishing with the established dharma, the reversal, that is, non-establishment, is not recognized. For example, the sound is to be established as impermanent, just like what is seen by the eyes. What is not established for one of the proponents or opponents is also not recognized as an establisher, for example, when establishing that happiness and so on have no consciousness, the reason is that it is a arising or impermanent itself, just like the proponent Samkhya himself has established. When establishing that trees have consciousness, if it is said that "because peeling off all the bark will cause death," such a reason is not established for the opponent Buddhist. It is also not recognized that dharma-nature not being established is an establisher, for example, "It is my pervasiveness, because it can be seen in all qualities," and so on. Similarly, other examples should also be understood there because they are declared in the determination of valid cognition and so on. If

Is it not the case that even non-dharmic aspects are seen as reasons? If asked, how can the nature of being a party's dharma be stated as a reason? The first party to be stated is the word 'if.' Then, extract 'at that time' from it, and combine it with 'oh, how' and so on. In this example of 'sound is impermanent,' the stated reason is 'made' and so on, these two. To prove that the result is inherently present in the nature of the cause, 'because it does not produce what does not exist' and so on are the means of proof. If the dharma of a party is a reason, then how can 'sound is impermanent because what is made is impermanent' and so on be established? Because it is not the dharma of a party. In any syllogism where the reason follows the probandum, and if the probandum does not exist, the reason does not exist, in the fifth part, that is, where what has the boundary of the fifth part is stated, there, examples of homogeneity and heterogeneity are stated. For example, to establish 'sound is impermanent,' because what is made is impermanent, this example, 'eternal things are not made,' this explains the examples of homogeneity and heterogeneity, that is, the concomitance and contraposition of a pot and space. Therefore, in both syllogisms, to establish 'sound is impermanent,' because what is made is impermanent, this explains the pot with the example of homogeneity, and 'because it is not eternal' explains space with the example of heterogeneity. In both syllogisms, the reason is not stated; that should be observed from the upādāna. Sound is impermanent because the pot is made, and what is made is impermanent. Similarly, sound is also made. The eternal space is not made. Sound is a pot; this is upādāna. The so-called upādāna is the desire that arises from the aggregation of a party's dharma. Furthermore, stating the example of heterogeneity, that is, comparing 'there is nothing like that person.' If asked, then why are these not reasons? That is, 'how' it means. Any reason where the connection between what is to be established and the reason is not established, that reason has no power to establish the probandum.
