That which is called "is" refers to the place. The explanation is the meaning of "if." "That" refers to the place. "This" refers to the pot. This pot is also that place. Thus, the extremely clear meaning is that for the self-nature where neither the place nor the pot exists, how can one be confused when other things do not exist and are distinct? Because it is not the case that things do not exist and are distinct in that way, therefore, what is empty of the pot and so on is that this place does not have the thing of that pot. If that is allowed, even so, how can it be that not attending here becomes attending? For what reason? What is called "other knowledge" is that the object of the knowledge of the place, even if it is the non-attendance of the pot, is acceptable. What is called "other knowable" is, how can the object of the knowledge of the place be without the pot? The knowledge of the place is that the knowledge of the pot does not exist, but the non-existence of the pot is not, that is the meaning. The main point of the answer called "knowledge and" etc. is that the object itself is the existence of things, therefore, the non-existence of knowledge itself is the non-existence of the knowable. Or, what is called "again" etc., in the previous explanation, the word "or" was not touched. Afterwards, it is explained as the meaning of collection. That is the meaning of only. What is called "attending" is because it becomes an object through the way of generating discrimination. What is called "similarly" is because it is said that attending is definitely made into attending itself, if it is not so, touching the root etc. when walking, because of the similarity, the establishment of attending in the way of attending is not personally experienced. Similarly, from the thought of thinking of not attending, it is also said to be not attending. What is called "if" is that the thing of such a nature called "this does not exist," through the non-existence established by the measure of non-existence, the existence of non-existence itself, the distinction of things is established without confusion, that is the meaning. What is called "from the special experience itself" is, it is not from the non-existence established by the measure of non-existence. What is called "special" is unmixed. If one asks what is the establisher of the pervasion of experience, that is the meaning of "like that." This experience's...

The very experience of individually determined self-nature is the cause of distinct minds. That is not a distinction from other experiences or non-things, therefore it is not without exhaustion, that is his thought. Explaining from the first half in reverse is the word "if." What is called "to be experienced" is that whatever does not confuse the difference of location will not be understood. If the knowledge of location does not return from the knowledge of the vase, then the direction will not return either, that is its meaning. This shows that reasoning cannot be done without understanding the external differences. Now, explaining in reverse from the second half, if clinging also does not return from other clinging, then saying that there is no understanding of difference is the word "if." What is called "having its own nature" is the knowledge having the appearance of a location. What is called "its also" is not only its knowledge, but also the location. What is called "difference" is non-confusion itself. To actually refute the argument that has already been said before, the question is raised: "non-thing." If by knowing the thing that returns, the self-nature of non-thing, this is meaningless, and the difference is understood through the knowledge of reasoning, if that is said, then "difference" is the answer. When is it? When no difference is directly perceived. What is called "already shown" is shown by the non-deceptive valid cognition. Therefore, non-thing is not established as non-mixed by reasoning. Then, how does the very experience of difference become the proof of non-confusion? Like this. Because there is no memory, it is impossible for there to be knowledge of non-thing with an appearance like "this is not." Because there is no experience of difference, there is no memory that is the cause of knowledge of non-thing, therefore, the very experience of difference is what establishes non-confusion, that is the question. The explanation is "refutation." What is called "however" is thought like this: previously it was a non-mixed experience, but that memory is changed at another time by its power. The answer is like that.
