It is an action. "That" means existence. "Not that" means non-existence. If the similar side does not exist, how can it be without life, etc.? "How can it be?" is the question. For it, in the similar side. "How can it be?" For non-existence, it is "is." "That also" is the absence of life, etc., itself. For it, in the similar side. "If that is so" is the answer. The doubt is, "That," namely, the living body, because it exists, does selflessness become contradictory itself? "The place of other existence" is because the living body exists. "The deluded one" is deluded about non-existent things, or deluded about existent things? It is a non-existent thing or without contradiction. Seeing in the similar side, determining that things do not exist, or determining that things exist, how can it become so? It will not change at all. Why? Because of one's own fault, one who is deluded about the non-things of things, etc., how can the living body not be deluded about non-things, etc., in other respects? It will not be not deluded at all. The explanation is, "oneself" means without contradiction or non-existence. "Because of other existence" is because the living body exists. "Not like that" is because of non-existence. "For it" refers to things and non-things. "For non-existence" refers to the similar side. "Some existence" refers to life, etc. At that time, "non-existence also," life, etc., also, "for existence," refers to the dissimilar side, the pot. "This is" refers to "that is because it exists," etc. The meaning is this: just as one does not want non-existence to be the basis, so also it will not become the indicator itself, because there is no difference. Therefore, just as one does not want the similar side, life, etc., to exist, so also one should not want it to exist in the dissimilar side. Therefore, how can life, etc., become contradictory? "This also" is because non-existence is also not realization. "Previously" refers to where it was said that there is no refutation for existent things. If there is no self, then it is contradictory, but self is not established on the living body.
