O! 'Thus' means stating the concluding verses. Doubt is 'that also', meaning things also. The answer is 'refutation'. Such a refutation as 'if it is not so' should be established through non-apprehension. If non-apprehension establishes the non-existence of things, how is that? Because it does not exist, meaning non-apprehension is of the nature of non-existence. If it is said that both do not exist, it means 'if both do not exist'. 'Non-thing' means there is nothing to prove. Merely refuting the thing itself is non-thing, therefore, non-thing is only irreversible. How is that? It means 'if'. After showing the non-thing itself, saying the non-existence of non-thing itself means 'similarly'. Even so, how is non-thing irreversible? It means 'if it does not become a thing either'. 'This refutation' is explained from the perspective of the conclusion, meaning 'therefore'. If it is said that refutation is established by the measure of non-thing, and things are established by perception itself, it means 'therefore, measure', because this establishment, which is outside of being established by perception, therefore, merely entering one measure, then to another way, that is, to reversal, in the nature of another way, that is, from that reversal itself, it is established. Therefore, other ways other than things and non-things do not exist. How does one measure establish another way as another way itself? It means 'what'. If even so, how does what becomes without another way itself, how is it not the nature of that other? It means 'of things'. That refers to the nature of things. 'Of that' means in the nature of things. Not existing in that nature means in the nature of things. Like this, not completely deciding in the nature of things is only the nature of non-things, after showing this, not completely deciding in the nature of non-things is also the nature of things itself, saying this means 'non-thing'. Like this, it means non-

in its own nature. The way to enter the Commentary on Valid Cognition is, if it is said. The agreeing side is either a thing or something that has become non-thing. To argue against the non-existent side is to point out flaws: when there is no agreeing side, there is no reason, so refuting it along with its basis is impossible. Why? Because the agreeing side, which is considered the basis itself, has not been cut off. Why has it not been cut off? Because non-existence is what is said. There, it refers to the absence of an agreeing side. At that time, do you want to enter? This is the question. If others say that entering is also not desired, the answer is: this is also not, what is shown is the negation. Therefore, how can the reversal be prevented? It can only be non-prevention. Preventing the reversal Why enter? It is said in another way. How is that itself? If it is said like that. The doubt is that it is also, that is, entering. The answer is then. Why? Because of what reason. Because of that reason, from the agreeing side, how does the reason prevent the reversal? It can only be non-prevention. Why? Because what is to be proven is what is said. That is the absence of an agreeing side. From that, from the disagreeing side. The statement made by arguing and examining is, life and so on is what is said. There, it must be said without a doubt, thus connecting. The way of speaking is said to be agreeing. When arguing and examining, you must definitely say this. If it is not like that, that is, if it is not said, in the case of non-things, obtaining not speaking itself, the doubt is committing to not speaking itself. If it is also said. Similarly, it is only said that it becomes only not speaking about non-things, because there is no mind of its object, so it is thought. The answer is that there is no mind of its object. Why? Because it says itself. Not only is the nature of things cut off on the non-existent side, but also the act of negating, it is possible to cut off in some ways of itself. If by what will it be completely cut off
