Then, why isn't it the cause of memory? Because it's called "what." What is called "not other" means it's not a different cause. If that's the case, why am I not the cause of memory? Because it's called "I exist." Then, how is it remembered? However, it's called "however." If that's the case, what is called "if not" means that even if I remember because of existence. This is almost symbolic, because if others experience, it will also lead to others' memory. The doubt about the answer to all times and all memories is "if." Then, what do you want to say? It's called "if." Why say that? It's called "rememberer." What is called "if it's not like that" means that if it is changing and there is no change, following, and returning, then the distinction between cause and effect will no longer exist. Similarly, why am I not the cause of memory? It's called "memory." What is called "if it doesn't change" is memory. If that's the case, it's universal and eternal. The doubt about the existence of differences is "however." What is called "that" means having the merits of eternity, etc. What is called "if it is so" is memory and experiencer. What is called "if it is so" is common understanding. That is also me. Why isn't it different? It's called "universal." The doubt about the existence of differences, Welcoming is "however." The answer is "I think it's me." It means that I, who am separated from body and color, etc., is not manifest. For the thought of "I think it is," the sign of the body is not manifest because it is different from the nature of infants, etc. What welcomes the doubt is "body." The answer is not impermanent. Why? It's called "of the body." Then, what is eternal? It's called "having stages." This aspect is committed to negate the meaning of the eternal self. Therefore, understanding this statement itself is important. Understanding the self that is different from the body is not. However, if it is understood that memory, etc., are blessed by me, why isn't it impermanent there? It's called "memory, etc." That

The doubt that arises when one fears that something unwanted will suddenly happen is called "however." Because the temporary collection is the body, and precisely because of this, there is no harm to the establishment of our side. Why is it the body? Because there is no recognition of another temporary body. For the permanent, gradual memory and experience are not related, which is called "furthermore." If it is unreasonable, it is called "if that." "That" refers to memory itself. "If it is memory, then it should not be experience," that is the meaning. Another fault is "happiness, etc." If one denies change, if I am not changed by happiness, etc., then it should not be a state of happiness. If there is no self, there will be no memory, therefore one will utter a hundred statements, so it is said, because memory is the result, why not from experience? What is the use of admitting the self? "Not just cause and effect," this is to grasp the additional self. Saying this is "like this." "The doer" refers to the self in relation to memory and experience. Merely the arising of realization in the self, this is not valid cognition. Describing the way of realization is "previously seen." Why is it not valid cognition? If it were, then all consciousnesses such as those with cataracts would become valid cognition, because that is also the result of the self. Therefore, there would be no distinction. "All" refers to those with cataracts. "Therefore" refers to everything being accomplished by everything. "Therefore" refers to all consciousnesses becoming valid cognition. "If it is so" refers to sense consciousness being valid cognition. "This" refers to the self. "Memory" is the discrimination of what was previously seen. "Connection" is uniting the former and the latter into one. "Subsequent relation" refers to the fact that there is no establishment of the former nature and the latter nature as one. "Unified realization" refers to the fact that I realize the object of the previously seen, how is this true in reality?
