When grasping, it is not remembrance at that time. However, it is after grasping. Although it is so, even so, why is there no remembrance of what is grasped? If what is grasped is a past object, then the nature of what is grasped will disappear. If that happens, it will not be remembered. However, it is through remembrance that one recognizes what was seen before. Therefore, if it is said that there is remembrance there, then it is called "remembrance now." If it is said that it is because it has that form, then what is said to have been seen before does not exist, because it disappears after generating its own view. Therefore, it is the nature of non-entity. Since it is so, how can it be remembrance merely by the form of what was seen before? If it is not that form, then it cannot be recognized, because it would be too extreme. What is said as "that is not the nature" means this. What is called "at that time also" refers to the time of remembrance. If it is said, "I have the ability to grasp, but not the ability to remember, is it not so?" Then, to dispel the doubt of "how can this recognize the previous thing?" what is said is "grasping and." "If" and so on are the answers. Why? Because what is called "its essence" is not the essence of grasping and remembrance. What is called "that" refers to the self. Why is it not the grasper and the rememberer? What is called "on the body also" is because it would be too extreme to become the grasper and the rememberer. Moreover, grasping and remembrance are different. Because the dwelling for six moments is impermanent, it is not like that. To dispel this doubt, what is said is "not." The answer is "space and so on." For space and so on, it is those grasping and remembrance. What is called "I am connected" refers to, from seeing the meaning of unreasonableness, if one completely thinks of having grasping and remembrance from the nature of remembrance, then space and so on will also have these, because the reason is the same. Therefore, it is thought that not having aggregation cannot be established. Furthermore, the argument is the same for things that have aggregation. For example, just as I have aggregation, space and so on also

It is called "transformation." If something is missing, what would seem inappropriate? It is called "before." This is memory. What is called "transforming in this way" refers to memory or the executor of memory itself. The connection called "the argument is also the same" is also called "connection." What is called "this itself" is like the connection of clinging to self. Or, in order to understand the same thing in previous and subsequent situations, it is necessary to make it transform in any way, so it must be admitted that memory and so on are constant. If memory only exists in the present, then constancy will not be understood. Therefore, it must be admitted that memory follows in previous and subsequent times. Doubting that "this is just a wish" is, what is called "that itself," that is, memory itself. The answer is "for what." Doubting what clings to the past nature, how does memory know? Because memory does not exist at the time of gathering, how can it first understand? This is what happened. Therefore, just as there is no clinging, how can there be memory of clinging? This statement stands because it is so. What is called "this" refers to "however, I know" and so on. Even so, how is sound not constant? Therefore. If sounds are constant, then they will not immediately mix with the previous nature. If clinging is impossible, then clinging also exists, therefore. What is called "how to say" etc. is to show the argument stated earlier. Effort produces the self-nature of sound, therefore it is knowledge. On the aspect of sound being impermanent, it is inappropriate for knowledge to arise immediately. This argument has abandoned standing on the other side's position. Others also believe that because sound is constant, effort only produces knowledge. Now, it must be refuted from another way. How to do it? What is called "if said." Even if effort is made immediately, it will change, but not only from its own self-nature. If on the impermanent side, it occurs immediately through it
