In order to establish the terms of the nature of cause and effect, how could it be lost? What is contradictory? This is what is said. To explain this, it is what the nominalists say. So, how is this to be refuted? It is for that very reason, that is, for the reason that the nominalists do not lose. The suchness of this term is refuted by necessarily examining its nature. If terms are conceptual, then are they not necessarily non-existent before conceptualization? So, by what is this refuted by examining its certainty? Because it is nirvana. If the suchness of terms is refuted by necessarily examining it, then it itself is not suchness. So, how does samsara become not suchness? Because it is conventional truth. If samsara is not suchness, then saying that suchness abides in nirvana, if that is the case. If that is the case, then since suchness and non-suchness are different, how can these two be established as non-dual? That is to say, it itself is not that defilement and complete purification are different. However, complete purification itself is various, existing in a non-dual way, this is only reason, but from the ultimate point of view, samsara is non-existent, this is the ultimate truth. Therefore, the non-dual suchness abides, this is what is meant to be expressed. If samsara is completely non-existent in the ultimate truth, then why does the world appear as samsara? If there is doubt about this, then only those who have not examined will think that it is not suchness. How is the term of samsara to be cut off? It means "only". Because of this, defilement and the nature of complete purification are different. So, how will it be destroyed? That is to say, why do you doubt that it will be destroyed? Detailed examination is analytical examination, and this is only what needs to be established, because samsara is the cause of decay. So, when will it not cause harm to samsara? It means "as long as". Therefore, from seeing suchness, samsara will be cut off, this is the moment when the wish descends. If seeing suchness

If cyclic existence ceases from itself, then why not directly realize that at the very beginning? If it is said that impermanence and so on are to be established with terminology, what is to be done? It is called a wise person. This is what is being explained. To what? To the moment. How is momentariness established? It is called "because of." "When" means immediately arising after effort, meaning the consciousness that arises immediately after effort. "What" refers to the nature of the object. "At that time" means that only that is spoken of at that time, meaning it is not understood. Why? It is called "previous and subsequent." Saying this is what is called "what and how." To this reasoning, others who say it is not momentary say it is uncertain. How do they say it? It is called "if." "Not non-existent" refers to the nature of the previous and subsequent. "At another time" refers to a time other than the time of holding the intermediate nature, that is, the past or the future. That is the nature of the previous and subsequent. "At that time" refers to another time. How is it perceived at that time? It is called "like this." "Where" refers to the place of the object. The characteristic of perception is the meaning of being included in the collection of eyes and so on. That is to indicate perception. Its object is the characteristic of perception, that is, what that meaning is. There it is called "closely perceived." If from this? It is called "vase." "Like that" refers to obtaining the characteristic of perception. Speaking in terms of meaning is what is called "thus." "When" refers to another time. "Other time" refers to the time of holding the intermediate nature, the nature of the previous and subsequent is not the same as the nature to be perceived. "One" refers to being one in the present nature and the nature existing in the previous and subsequent times. That and not that, that is, becoming the characteristic of perception and not becoming the characteristic of perception, how can it be? It can only become the characteristic of perception, that is the meaning. Or if it is admitted to be multiplicity, then at that time it is not appropriate to say that the nature previously held is perceived later.
