What is "Lavo"? It means "without error." Therefore, if error is error, because there is no error, it will have the nature of being without error. When is it an error? It is called "error." If we explain "from the nature of error," it means "from the nature of the appearance of error." Therefore, there is no other nature besides that. The doubt is "due to error." This is temporarily saying that there is no fault of exhaustion, which is called "error." The second nature shown by error is also the same. Therefore, it is called "from the nature of error, the nature of sound is also the same." This is also another nature, which is the other nature of sound. After speaking of no exhaustion in this way, explaining "error itself will decline," it is called "for error also." For the object of error, if it turns into error itself, then the inverted nature will decline, and only the true nature of sound will appear. Therefore, it is called "due to no exhaustion." Therefore, it is called "because there is error in error." Because that itself appears, it is called "if there is error in error, it will become without error, and if that appears, there is nothing called error." Then, how is it established that there is also error in error? It is called "measurable." It means that that itself is not an appearance. Even if it does not appear, only the nature of sound is true, and not greatness, etc. This is to eliminate doubts, i.e., "if," etc. By greatness, etc., i.e., by the greatness of sound, etc. Because of the inversion, there is no meaning. The others are greatness, etc. Then, from what does the understanding of meaning arise? It is called "meaning." If only there is no knowledge of sound, why will it not change? It is called "habit." Therefore, the understanding of meaning depends on the knowledge of sound. If it is not the difference of sound that causes the understanding of meaning to be different? Then, is that itself the cause of making it different? It is called "the ground of continuity." It is born because it is interrupted by the consciousness of hearing, etc.

That which makes it different, the nature of sound, that is not what makes it different, because the immediately preceding cause itself is what makes it different. So, what becomes different through difference? It is called the proximate cause. The proximate cause for understanding meaning is the habit of the same kind, and sound is what acts together. The difference in sounds that act together should not lead to a difference in understanding meaning, because even if sounds are not the same, due to the difference in objects, the understanding of meaning is seen as different, and even if different, it is not seen, therefore, it is only through the difference in the proximate cause that it is different. To state briefly the two reasons that do not make it different: since "through it" means producing through transmission, sound is also not what makes it different. The explanation is "of that meaning." "For that" refers to the understanding of meaning. "Through it" means being produced through transmission and acting together, therefore that sound is not what makes it different, so what is the actual function of sound? It is "sound." "Its knowledge" is the knowledge of appearance. If it is said that the difference in large and small, etc., is of the tones, not of the sound, because the meaning of the action is not different, then refuting what is said is: "That," that is, knowledge itself becomes different, which is related to the latter. Through the difference in the proximity and distance of sound, whether it is clear or unclear. After stating one different cause, stating the second cause is "pleasant and unpleasant," that is, the aspect of happiness and the aspect of suffering. What is that like? Since the meaning of the action of sound is different, how can sound not be the same? Doing one's own meaning of action is fulfilling one's own need. However, even if sound has differences, but if one suspects that this is merely an illusion, then "is it so?", that is, is it doing one's own need? Like a pot, sound is produced from effort, therefore it is merely impermanent. Since the result of the argument is not diverse, therefore it is shown by "its immediately following" itself, but this is not what has been shown, now it is effort.
