That which is called "etc." is also so. "Time" etc., is the collection of the meanings of words such as the sound of "etc." The reason called "its reason" is for the reason of "how" etc. If you think, what is the meaning of the fact that valid cognition (direct perception) is established? Then it is explained by the words "not established also". That which is called "those" is "how" etc. Being long etc. is also the difference of the action itself. What is closely collected is called "therefore". If you ask, what does not hold? Answer: with the words "direct perception". Therefore, time pervades, only it does not hold. However, that which is called "however" is for others. That which is called "no" is prevention. Why? Answer: Also in that, it is called "also", that is, it also pervades the object. If you ask, how is it not observed? Answer: with the words "from its basis". If so, then think: will the general characteristic itself that follows the nature of meaning become a distinct characteristic of objects etc.? Answer: It is said, "Such a nature is," that is, it follows the meaning determined by objects etc. Why is it contradictory? Answer: It is said, "In that," that is, in the determined aggregate of objects etc. In other places, it is also another aggregate. Thus, it is to enter the scope. In other places, the fault of following is stated itself, because the general characteristic has no distinction, if all appearances follow it, it will become one aggregate. Why? Answer: It is called "basis". That which is called "these two" is the realization of distinction. That which is called "same" is the realization of non-distinction. What is said here, called "same," is this same itself, is it of mind or of meaning? To this, for the time being, it is said, "Not of mind," In other places, it is called "in the mind". That which is called "same" is the same itself that exists in the mind, therefore, in other places, it is called "in meaning", it will become that meaning has the same, no. Welcoming and dispelling the doubts of the second party is called "same ones". In meaning blue etc. In order to distinguish the meaning, establishing the basis is called "the appearance of following". If you ask, what is the use of examining the meaning of this? Answer: It is said, "Meaning". The meaning of what is said that is related to the sound called "mind with the same appearance", no matter what it is, if it is distinguished, it will become two kinds.

The word 'ro' should be added. Showing these two aspects is called 'hundred-one self-nature'. Among them, eliminating the first conceptualization is called 'self-nature'. Then, would it be thought that the very nature of mind is generally existent? (Answer:) It is said in the scripture, 'The aspect of mind is also'. What is called 'that general' refers to the aspect of mind. Why? Because there is the saying 'in another mind'. A mind that is different from the first mind is another mind. Because that other mind does not have the aspect that the first mind has. It is said thus: 'The aspect of mind also abides in the mind, it does not move towards external objects and other minds.' This explains the first chapter of words. Now, the second explanation is 'however'. The two aspects are because the clear aspect and the general aspect are manifested. What is called 'manifestation itself' is to express: the mind without conceptualization can also hold the self-nature of two things. If it is thought that the latter is correct, then, why is it that blue, which is different from yellow, is seen as dissimilar to other blues, just like the seeing that is dissimilar to yellow? Therefore, the mind without conceptualization can also hold the self-nature of two things. Because of falling into one's own view, if the desired thing can be established, then the whole world will realize the desired meaning. Why? Because there is the saying 'sound pervades all'. Blue is also merely different from other blues. However, it is the conceptualization produced by the habituation of inverted conceptualization from beginningless time that clings to it as one, that is its meaning. This is an act of ignorance, it is a mind disturbed by bad wisdom. What is it? It is 'similar aspect'. What is called 'that with' refers to having hidden places and so on. Why is it not one? Because there are sayings such as 'thus directly perceived'. Even if it is admitted to be one, the fault must be pointed out, that is, 'because of being one'. The latter half is explained as 'aspect'. What is called 'even if holding one aspect' refers to even if holding the aspect of the self-nature of the general aspect. What is called 'holding itself' refers to all clear aspects...
