Why is that? Because, the so-called "there" refers to the pillars supporting the roof, those parts that individually lack the ability, when gathered together, can produce a result with the nature of ability. If it is said, is it also changing in this way here? Then, it is "here." To welcome the doubt, it is "limb," that is, through recognition and limbs. The so-called "generating the cognition of having limbs." Because, apart from recognition and memory, there is no other third cognition. The so-called "however," etc., is to welcome the doubt. The so-called "nature of certainty" refers to the certainty of the nature of having "having limbs." The so-called "from being valid" refers to the word that is the same in kind, from memory and recognition, which are non-valid, the idea of having limbs arises, which must be non-uncertain. Why is that? Because it is valid. Why is it considered uncertain from here? Because it is valid. If it is determined only from the valid, but not from the non-valid, then the valid becomes meaningful. In order to explain what cognition arises from inference, etc., welcoming the doubt is "however." Seeing the water pot drawing water, inferring the lower limbs, when inferring, the limb that is being seen and the limb that is not seen, this same thing, the recognition that "that is this," because it is like this, if it is not like this, it will be transferred to other places, because the limbs are moving. Recognizing on the same thing, it is also unreasonable to think that it is the limb itself, therefore, through power, the limb itself exists, therefore the limb is established. If it is thought that recognizing on the same thing is only the limb, not having the limb. Then, how is it established? Therefore, it is said "limb." The ultimate meaning of establishment is that the inference that determines other limbs is from the sign of the present valid establishing the connection generated. The present valid also holds the limb itself, so how is having the limb established? It refutes what was said, because recognizing the same thing from recognition, it is the cognition of having limbs.

Therefore, it is called "therefore." Elsewhere, that is, in the case of things seen manifestly as different, how can one proceed if there are many paths to understanding what arises from recognizing them as one? The term "different aspect" means different, and the term "different" means not different. If manifest reality does not make something different from something else, then recognition is also manifest reality. How can one make something different from something else? If there is such a doubt, it means "recognition also." It is not manifest reality. Why? It is called "following." Entering the realm of inference is also what the other party desires, but it is with phrases such as "but at that time." Others say that "entering the realm of inference" means "entering the realm of memory." If, even though entering the realm of inference, recognition will establish oneness, then it is called "that inference also." Many means many branches. If it is indeed the object of many branches, how can recognition only show one and be the cause of terms? If there is such a doubt, it means "recognition." The answer is that the valid cognition itself is the cause of terms, which is the occasion. How is the valid cognition itself? It is called "the valid cognition itself also." The so-called inference is the inference of its own nature. If one seeks inference when establishing the term of oneness, then at that time, will the recognition of the nature of inference establish the possessor of branches? To welcome this doubt, it is said, "Is it so?" The meaning of the answer such as "It is not" is this: the inference of its own nature is not the excellence of true oneness, but it is the object of one that is examined, and the possessor of branches that you want to establish is true oneness. Showing the one that is examined is that meaning. By the actions of cooking and burning, oneness is attributed to what is seen and known. The form shown by the establishing consciousness and the touch shown by the touch consciousness are what should be established as one. What was seen before is the meaning of the non-deceptive nature.
