is the reason. The term "one" refers to one of the manifestations of a cow or a buffalo. Because one first sees and then sees the difference between the two, that is why. Even so, if one thinks that pervasiveness is a generality, then it is because of different kinds. To dispel the doubt that if there is no kind, there is no similarity or dissimilarity, it is said, "if." Explaining this is "for example." The reason why the manifestations of cows and buffaloes are different from each other is that the generality of cows themselves and buffaloes themselves are different from each other. Therefore, the manifestations that have the characteristics of cows and buffaloes, etc., are only differences, not similarities and dissimilarities. Why? Because without generality, one cannot understand the differences between similarities, etc. If one thinks that the distinction of similarities is not made from the difference itself that depends on manifestation, then it is said, "depending on manifestation." "Those two also" refers to swans and speckled ones. The term "not seeing everything" means that not all manifestations of cows are seen, because they are boundless. Relative to Buddhists, it is not only unreasonable for general things to exist, but also if one thinks that the general understanding of the pervasive nature of the Tathagata is also unreasonable, then the answer is "it is not unreasonable." "This fault is irreversible" means that the fault is the only entry. If one asks what is the irreversible fault, then the way of explaining is "generally through manifestation." The term "not by one's own nature" means that without manifestation, it is not manifested by one's own nature. If one thinks that without manifestation, why is it not manifested? That is "empty of manifestation." Because that obvious general manifestation is not seen. Because it is not manifested without manifestation, it must depend on manifestation. If one thinks that depending on it is enough? Then it is said, "that also." "Therefore" is because all manifestations are not seen. "There also" refers to in general, not only excluding others. It is impossible to establish pervasiveness by using symbols to represent the manifestations that are represented by the general. The explanation is
