By definitely grasping, one can prevent understanding fire from the generality of fire itself. What is called generality is the generality of fire itself. If one doubts that there is a difference because one understands the manifestation of fire not from the general characteristic of fire, but because smoke itself becomes the characteristic from which fire is understood, then it is said to be generality. Understanding the manifestation of fire from the generality of fire itself also comes only from what has become a characteristic. Wherever there is fire, there is the manifestation of fire, for example, in the kitchen. Here too, there is fire, and thus manifestation is understood only from what has become the general characteristic of fire. If one understands directly, it will become clear. Understanding through direct perception does not arise from the generality of fire understood through smoke. Therefore, if fire itself, having become a characteristic, can understand manifestation, then what fault is there in that? Therefore, generality should not be accepted at all. If one does not want to accept the entity of generality, then the two properties of generality, pervasiveness, will not be accepted. One manifestation cannot make another manifestation understood, because there is no pervasive relationship. If one accepts the meaning of generality, then the two generalities are the characteristic and the entity possessing the characteristic, because there is a pervasive relationship. To dispel this doubt, it is said, "Why?" What is called "another manifestation" refers to the difference of fire existing in mountains, etc. What is called "the manifestation that becomes a characteristic" refers to the manifestation of smoke existing in the kitchen. The meaning is that there is no relationship between the various manifestations. There is a relationship between the generality of fire itself and the generality of smoke itself, because they are both pervasive. If the generality of fire itself is pervasive of its own manifestations, then when the pervasive fire itself is understood in the kitchen, the manifestation of fire existing on the mountain should also be understood as pervasive. If this is not the case, then pervasiveness itself will not be understood, or even if it is understood, inference will become meaningless. To answer this question, it is said, "Generality." If one accepts that the generality of fire itself is pervasiveness, then how can that generality be considered the understander of another manifestation, that is, the difference of fire existing on the mountain? It is unchanging. Why?

Conversely, if considering the self-nature that pervades all things, then the generality of fire should be regarded as universally existent. If one recognizes the generality of the self-nature of fire, one cannot understand the generality of fire, because there is no result. If this fault also applies to Buddhists, because the measure that establishes universality has already grasped the universally existent thing and the universally existent entity, then, as previously stated. According to which view does this fault arise for definite knowledge and its objects? For us, it is not so, because erroneous clinging arises in a rough manner. Then, when grasping the pervading pervader, will one not grasp the pervading pervaded? If it is said that even if not grasped, the thing as a pervader will not disappear, then that is the meaning of "if." If the generality of fire is universal, then when inferring the particularity of fire, if one does not grasp the pervaded that is about to appear, then how can one grasp the pervader that exists when inferring the generality of fire? Even if one does not grasp it in this way, one can only understand it from that, right? The answer is "the statement does not grasp the relationship." If, from the generality of the self-nature of fire that has not grasped its own manifestation and relationship, one understands the manifestation of fire existing on the mountain, then a very excessive inference will arise, namely, from the generality of the self-nature of fire, one will also understand the manifestation of other generalities such as cows, such as variegated colors. If one recognizes the manifestation of fire by recognizing the smoke of the generality of the self-nature of fire existing on the mountain, then one will also recognize the manifestation of a cow, because the non-grasping of the relationship is the same. If one generally answers that because the manifestation of variegated colors, etc., is not related to the self-nature of fire, then the self-nature of fire is related through the relationship of being combined with the manifestation of fire, therefore, they are merely understood and understanders through existence, this is what is being contemplated. Then, the phrase "if it is so" is the conclusion. Those who have not grasped the relationship between fire and the self-nature of fire will also understand fire from the self-nature of fire. Furthermore, actions, etc., are like this, the generality of the self-nature of fire is related to the manifestation of fire, but not to variegated colors, etc.

It is said. Therefore, it is unreasonable to say "where the connection is understood." How can it be known that "in general, it is related to clarity"? "Previously" refers to inferring according to one's own meaning. "For the general" refers to the general aspect understood through signs. At that time, if clarity can also be understood from the general aspect understood through sound, then it will not change. From words such as "If you suspect there is a pile of Khara in the river," clarity cannot be understood. "That" refers to the understanding arising from sound. "Everything" also refers to the understanding arising from signs. From "if" to "then" is an argument. "For everything" also refers to the understanding arising from sound. "Through signs," etc., the meaning of the established conclusion is: through signs, only the general can be understood, but not the clear. If the clear is understood, then understanding the general becomes meaningless. Therefore, signs can only understand the general. "If from that" means that even if the inference is understanding the general, if the clear is understood. "At that time, for the general, that is, for everything, that is, for the understanding of sound, there is no understanding of the clear. Doubt means that sound is only general, not clear. "Then" refers to the established conclusion. If only the general is understood from understanding, then from sound, the sound of "only" should not be said as "only general," but it is also possible to say it. Therefore, it should be admitted that clarity can be understood from inference. The idea that "then, inference depends on understanding clarity" is, "even so." "Previously" means that if clarity is understood, it will change from the sign of smoke, etc., but what should be done later? "If the general exists in things, then entering and exiting will not exist." Whatever refutation is said, it is covered up with a casual tone. The view that "the general is different in one" can be said to "not enter clarity," but it is not so for the views of different and non-different. For this view of general different and non-different also
