In order to refute the argument that "one will be attached to others," it is "if" and so on. Objects with limbs, such as pillars, are long in themselves, but when some limbs are obscured, just as one is not attached to the long itself, one will not be attached to the pervasive itself for the meaning of time-pervasiveness, right? The answer is that it is so for the direct perception of length. Why? Because it is so in places where trees and so on are obscured. That is with limbs. So, what is that? If one thinks that, according to other schools, that is with limbs, what is said is "length itself." That which has limbs is long, but the limbs are not, that is the meaning. The length of that which has limbs is also to be realized by inference, not to be realized by direct perception. That which is to be realized by inference itself, residing in other schools, is said, "Thus." Because if one limb shakes, everything will shake, therefore one will realize that things are the same length. If things are not the same, one shaking, everything will not shake, therefore, this oneness is realized from inference. Thus, after showing two inferences, the second is said, which is "one limb." Thus, after stating the inference according to other schools, the refutation is made, which is "that is also inference." Inference

If this meaning is not the object of direct perception as the nature of being pervasive in time, then pervasiveness itself is not the nature of those. If the nature of pervasiveness itself becomes the object of the nature of non-pervasiveness, then it is direct perception. For example, just as the nature of blue is not the object of direct perception as yellow and so on, pervasiveness is also not the object of non-pervasiveness, that is its meaning. Like that itself, is the non-pervasiveness itself. Otherwise, it means holding onto pervasiveness itself at another time. "Occurring and" means doubt. "It is not like that" means that it is not the fault that everything becomes the object of action. The answer is, "that," which means not holding onto the parts of time. "Just that time" means being related to the present time itself. "If it is like that" means holding onto being related to that time. Like lightning and so on, lightning means only holding onto being related to the present time, so it is momentary. "If" means welcoming doubt. Others think that because there is no cause for destruction, it will not be destroyed, the answer is, "then." Welcoming the doubt about the possibility of destruction is, "do." From this aspect, a cause of destruction like this also actually exists, the answer is, "for this also," referring to pots and so on. Similar kinds arise later, dissimilar to the moment of the pot, are suppressed by action. "That" refers to the destruction caused by suppression. Welcoming the doubt that not observing the later time is not established is, "if." The answer is, "no, because." Why? "That itself" means the previously held itself. What is said by "this itself" is, "previous." If one thinks, how could one not have held onto the previous time? For a while, except for form and so on, there is no form that is not established for direct perception, what is said is, "for a moment." If one thinks, how could it not be established by direct perception? "On the first day" means. It is not that one has realized the first period and so on. In the second period, one does not realize daytime and so on through direct perception, connecting it like this, for this, stating the reason is, "at that time."

In short, that was at the time of the first day and so on. If it is established by direct perception, will it be established by recollection? If you doubt this, that is the word "sun." The word "not," means it is not like that. Why? Because it is the word "recollection." How? Because it is the word "recollection is." This is what is to be said, it is the word "recollection." Then, will it be apprehended by direct perception? That is the word "by direct perception." Although the former and the latter are not of one nature, they will become the nature of accumulated time, to dispel this doubt, that is the word "if." The answer is the word "accumulation." The word "if" is doubt. The direct perception that holds multiple suns, holds the nature of accumulating suns, that is, the time called "moon," that is its meaning. The answer is the word "direct perception." The statement "not entering direct perception," there is no valid cognition whatsoever. The statement "recollection does not realize direct perception" is also unreasonable, saying this, that is the word "recollection." Because it arises from recollection, the nature of accumulation is conventional truth, not ultimate truth. If that is the case, what will be established? That is the word "time is." It pervades, the meanings of sound and so on pervaded by time are all conventional truth. Therefore, it is because the permanence of meanings is conventional truth. To dispel the doubt that phenomena are the fault of the nature of phenomena, that is, if impermanence itself is the nature, then how can it become otherness in conventional truth at that time? Because the non-difference of ultimate truth contradicts the otherness of examination. Even if it changes, it is unreasonable for what is to be established and what establishes, saying this, that is the word "proximate cause." The made and impermanent nature that abides in discrimination is not what establishes, nor is it what is to be established. Why? Because there is no proximate cause, the otherness of ultimate truth is because it is separated from proximate cause. If even separated from the proximate cause of otherness, will the nature abiding in it become the nature of what is to be established and what establishes? To dispel this doubt, speaking through debate itself, that is, "related."
