If it is considered in this way, then one should say, "Sound is impermanent," or "because it is sound." It should not be stated as both the subject and the reason. Having stated the established conclusion in this way, the answer is: "That is not the case." The reason for saying "that" is to avoid relying on other reasons. The reason for saying "other subjects are for elimination" is to explain the reason for eliminating other subjects. It means that the subject and the means of proof should be combined. The phrase "he said," and so on, is the answer. Regarding the nature of sound itself, which is the subject that has become the nature of the means of proof, if it is possible to establish permanence, then it is meaningless to introduce another reason such as "because it is sound." However, if the subject has no power, then what is the use of saying again, "because it is sound"? It is because it has no power in itself. If the subject has no power, then the means of proof that has become its nature also has no power. Therefore, the reason for saying "therefore" is because there is the fault of being unable and unnecessary. The reason for saying "again shows" is that with respect to the statement "sound is impermanent," it again relies on the statement "sound is impermanent." Because here there is no intention to express a statement that is different from the means of proof and has the characteristic of sound's impermanence itself. The reason for saying "unestablished" is that the basis itself is unestablished. This eliminates the debate about "sound is impermanent," and so on. Therefore, the reason for saying that there is no fault of "unestablished itself" is to refute the statement of "no concomitance." The answer is "that fault also." The reason for saying "when stating uncertainty" is when it is determined that only one fault should be stated. The reason for saying "when stating certainty, it is unreasonable" is connected in this way. If one thinks, "Why is the fault of no concomitance unreasonable?" it is because it has already been refuted with the fault of being unestablished, so to refute it again with the fault of no concomitance
