It is called "is." If one takes from a seemingly valid statement to understand the proof, then that Buddhist is foolish, because the Samkhya opponent cannot refute the foolishness of other Buddhists. If it is thought that the refuter is not foolish, then how can the refuter not be foolish since he does not understand the seemingly valid statement? They are clearly foolish. If one is confused about the untruth itself, that is not certain either. Therefore, if the refuter thinks that the established proof from that can establish what is to be established, then (the other party) says, this is not not understanding either. However, Buddhists are certain that this itself is untrue. Why? It is called "like this." If one contradicts the sentient being established by the Buddhist's statement and acknowledges the non-sentient being, then how can the Buddhist be happy through that statement? If they do not understand that it is not true. If one acknowledges that the meaning that contradicts that is also valid, then (the other party) says "with that," if one acknowledges the non-sentient being that contradicts the sentient being established by the Buddhist's statement, how can that be valid? "This" refers to the Buddhist. "Because it does not arise without it" means that if one does not think that it is untrue, it will not arise. If one thinks that the Buddhist is foolish, therefore there is no fault in what was just said, then the refuter says "if foolish." If the refuter is foolish, then he is not revealing the opponent. It said "the foolishness of others." That is the Buddhist. Refuting is refuting from acknowledging happiness and other sentient beings. By doing so, the result of the Samkhya opponent will be established. Therefore, it is thought that the opponent is merely revealing (the truth). The answer is "no." Then when? It is called "of others." The answer is "the listener." When? It is called "the fortunate one also." "However" refers to debate. "Like that" refers to establishing the characteristics of permanence and so on. "That also" refers to the refuter. If any refutation becomes an irrelevant statement, then the proof will also be irrelevant.

If someone asks, why should only what is relevant to refutation be stated? The answer is this: Just like a merchant, one should only use weights that match the value of the goods, and not use weights that do not match. Similarly, if someone asks, why should only what is relevant to the refutation of others be stated? The answer is, this is like a foolish act. It is like saying, "He drank wine from my begging bowl," which is speaking of a refutation that is unrelated to oneself. It is like saying, "I will urinate in his begging bowl," which is like saying, "I will state an argument that is unrelated to this." The debater should eliminate the ignorance of others. Because this is like both sides being blind, one cannot obtain the title of debater for debating, that is its meaning. The so-called "meaning" refers to arguing for a non-sentient thing. The so-called "that" refers to the argument for arguing for oneself. The so-called "completely established in oneself" refers to the non-sentient thing that one is to argue for being completely established, that is, arguing through a definite reason. The so-called "this itself is completely established" refers to the argument being clear. The so-called "pleasing labor" refers to establishing something that is already established for others as an argument. Others say this to the Samkhya school. The so-called "that" refers to the non-sentient thing, that is, from the teachings of the Samkhya school. The answer is "that teaching itself." "That itself" refers to the teachings of the Samkhya school. For others, that is, for Buddhists. "The argument itself" refers to the non-sentient thing. "It is not" refers to what others have said. For others, it refers to Buddhists. The answer is "for non-valid cognition." "For that" refers to others, that is, the Samkhya school. The answer is "if." The so-called "for all" refers to for Buddhists as well. "Others have promised" is said. The answer is "the Samkhya school also." Others say "through that," referring to through the Samkhya school. The answer is "if." The so-called "others" refers to, for Buddhists, it will also become promised. "Through this" refers to through the Buddhists. Raising the question is, if the Buddhists have not promised that reason, then the answer is "if that is so." If the doctrine holds
