O! The term "becoming the establisher" refers to the proposition that is stated as "to be established." It is the common characteristic of both showing becoming the establisher and showing becoming the non-establisher. Therefore, there is no difference. There is no other characteristic that shows the difference, so it will be a fault of being too pervasive. The term "that and" refers to the author's to-be-established, to-be-rejected, etc. Because the unestablished, which is the object of the occasion, is the cause of being to-be-established. The term "other" means not relying on the object of the knower. Which treatise would one think of using as an example? The term "thus." The term "depending on the Samkhya" means that the pot with the distinction of impermanence is not established for the Samkhyas, so it is an unestablished example. The term "because it is apprehended by the eye" is an unestablished reason. Space is not established as impermanent, and it is also an unestablished example, because in the system of the Lokayatas, space is permanent. However, the term "however" is entering the Pramanavarttika. All that is unestablished as example and reason is not necessarily a fault of the proposition, thus connecting. So, what is the proposition itself? The term "however." It should be connected by saying that whichever action has a superior distinction, that is the proposition. Why? The term "for the action." If one thinks that showing becoming the establisher is also the action itself? The term "action also." If one thinks that, however, that is only craving for livestock? The term "becoming the establisher." If one asks, how does it become? The term "for example." Explaining this itself is the term "by the action of drinking milk." If one asks, regarding the to-be-established that changes later, is it not to-be-established? The term "thus." What will become desired is the unestablished establisher. The boundary of the four tenets, the term "all lineages" etc., here, in the Nyaya Sutra it says: not contradicting all lineages, is the meaning of following the lineage, is the tenet of all lineages. In the Nyaya Bhashya it also says: for example, smelling etc. are

It is said that the function of the senses, such as the sense of smell, and elements such as earth, are measured and grasped by valid cognition. The tenet of different lineages is that, in the scriptures of reasoning, if a certain view is established in one lineage but not in others, that is the tenet of different lineages. Its meaning is that a view established in one lineage, but not established in others, is called the tenet of different lineages. For example, a view that contradicts rational treatises is established in the Vedic scriptures but not in the Buddhist scriptures. The definition of the tenet of being able to control is that if a certain view is established, then other related views will also be established, which is the lineage of being able to control. The definition of the tenet of commitment is that from an unexamined commitment, examining all its aspects is the tenet of commitment. Here, in the explanation of reasoning, some views are committed without being examined. For example, sound is a substance, is it permanent or impermanent? Like this, examining the characteristics of the existence of substance, that is, impermanence and permanence, is the tenet of commitment. In this way, by proving the definition of the tenet of commitment through all lineages and other four methods, it is to prove the definition of "is a vow," that is, because it has been done. "Without fault" is the definition of a vow. "Being a part of what can be established, is what is to be established" is unreasonable. Why? Because what is to be established has been shown, and all that has not been shown has not been established. Because the tenet itself is the same, the unestablished reasons and examples are the same as the tenet of commitment. Why? Because it has been said that the unestablished reasons, etc., also have the definition of commitment, that is, the same as the definition of the tenet of commitment. Furthermore, starting from the five parts, etc., the answer to the debate is that it has been said before that it is not established, and all are related.
