It is said that the falsity that refers to what is said is the characteristic. If someone says, "All permanent dharmas are not true," this is a harm by verbal statement. If speech is permanent, then since permanence itself exists at all times, what is the use of actions such as the lips? Therefore, committing to permanence itself harms the characteristic of the subject of dharma—impermanence. Or, by the force of speech, permanence itself is also harmed. Therefore, calling speech permanent is a seemingly valid position. Saying "All dharmas are not true" also harms the characteristic of the dharma to be proven—the characteristic of untruthfulness, that is, the object of untrue statement. If all speech is untrue, then it is not revealing the object of untrue statement. This word "both" excludes the self-nature of dharmas and subjects of dharma. The characteristic of the dharma to be proven is called "untruthfulness." The word "both" excludes the characteristics of dharmas and subjects of dharma. Saying this itself is "all speech." The characteristic of the subject of dharma—all speech, that is, permanence, and the characteristic of the untruthfulness to be proven, that is, the untruthfulness that is said, are excluded. How is this so? By the force of speech. Therefore, because it is a valid means of cognition, by the force of speech, the speech itself and the object of untrue statement are excluded. If the self-nature of the dharma and the characteristic of the dharma do not exist, then it will not become a statement. Therefore, from the force of speech, the absence related to the self-nature of the dharma and the subject of dharma, and the characteristic of the dharma, is excluded. Even if absence is excluded, if both exist, then this has already been excluded in the manner previously stated. How to exclude the characteristic of the subject of dharma? "The characteristic of the subject of dharma also" is said in this way. The characteristic of the subject of dharma—speech, that is, the characteristic of permanence that is committed to here. There exist impermanence and newly discovered things, etc., by which…

It is like that. If by what is its impermanence dispelled? Answer: If, it is said like that. If it is thought that it is not necessary, answer: If, it is said like that. What makes it clear is, if, it is said like that. If it is said that there is no self-nature of language, it means that the self-nature of language is not for the benefit. It is connected to the speaker being established, it will fall into the fault of establishing it closely. First, say the first half, then explain the second half, that is to say, it is not like that, that is to say, there is no benefit of the self-nature of language. It is also necessary to depend on, that is to say, language, that is language. Therefore, because impermanence has been established, it is through dispelling the difference between these dharmas and the dharmas that possess them. Having said the expansion of the metaphor like this, now we must explain the already arranged Commentary on Valid Cognition itself, that is to say, for those metaphors just mentioned. For what purpose? Answer: In this way, it is said like that. If it is thought how should it be established? Answer: However, it is said like that. If it is thought what is the self-nature of a substance? Answer: Function, it is said like that. Similarly, it should also be established that the limb is based on what is seen. It is connected like this. If it is not established like this, it will become the fault of establishing what has already been established, it is said like that. This is to say limb, it is said like that. If someone says that the limb has the self-nature of a substance and is the object of what is seen, then what would the speaker think? It is impossible for invisible atoms. After seeing the result of the self-nature of knowledge, etc., it is thought that the cause of this result is the limb. Therefore, it should only be established that it has this self-nature. Why should it be established that it has the self-nature of a substance? Answer: It is not different, it is said like that. Explaining the second half, it is atoms, it is said like that. This itself is the aspect of consciousness. However, if there is no limb, it will not become the aspect of consciousness itself. Therefore, if it is said that the limb other than the aspect of consciousness is already established, answer: It's too much, it is said like that. It is too much, it is not dwelling in a distant place, but dwelling in a body place that is close to each other but not mixed.
