Again, it is said. Therefore, it is considered not to be truly existent. Then, if it is a universal, how should it be understood? Because the illusion arises in meaning, it is because things have not been disturbed, and because it does not exist in the essence of things itself, it is a universal. Precisely because of this, it is not self-nature, the consciousness of the universal of self-nature with an object is not with self-nature. The so-called "that" refers to appearance. Because appearance is seen as the essence of the universal. Even so, if it is said that the universal admitted by others cannot be established, that is the meaning of "however." The meaning of the word "however" is "how." For non-appearing consciousness, whatever appears is not truly existent, for example, the appearance of two moons, the universal will also be like this. Then, if you think how that is your universal? That is "that also." Not only is it the unique self-nature of things, that also is. If you ask why it is recognized that it is not just that? It is said, "This universal is." The so-called "if it is not so" is to admit that it is also unanalyzable. Because from non-appearing consciousness, appearance is also not truly existent. Because it cannot be expressed with words such as "with lineage" or "without lineage" to express its relationship with itself and other things, it has already been said that the universal is not a real thing. To repeat in order to eliminate faults such as uncertainty, it is said "again" because it is unspeakable. If you ask why it is unspeakable, it is neither speakable nor a real thing, this is the meaning of the question. The answer is "because of no self-nature," what is pervaded by no self-nature is precisely unspeakable, therefore, whatever is unspeakable is not a real thing. If someone raises a question, thinking that the reason for being a non-real thing, that is, unspeakable itself is not established, then accept and eliminate this question: if because it is different from the appearance of horses etc., and think that the cow itself is a real thing, then in that case, how is it not speakable in any way? However, it can still be said to be different from its own appearance. Because what is pervaded exists, the pervading exists.

What is stated is: something is called "cas." If it is said that "the unspeakable itself is not established," then it refers to "if it is from another general (concept)." If it is said to be a thing, then take it out from within and add "also from self-luminosity." Even that is not the case. What is meant by "from itself" is from one's own luminosity. If there is doubt that a thing cannot be said to be different from its own basis, then the answer is "because it is related to it," that is, because it is related to one's own luminosity. What is meant by "from it" is from luminosity. The meaning is that because it is not a thing, it does not pervade the unspeakable. If it is unspeakable because of being related, then it would be too extreme; this is the cause and effect of the answer. Therefore, what is meant by "therefore" is because of being related. To refute the fault, it is said, "Smoke is." From "different places" to "to dispel the doubt that arises from being too extreme" is the answer. Even if there is a relationship, but in relation to fire, because the place of smoke is different, if it is not a speakable thing, then it is not. Because there is no place different from the basis, saying "because they are not different" is not establishing it. What is meant by "place." In relation to the whole of the basis, is the difference apparent or not apparent? For the non-apparent, it is said, "the non-appearance of difference." For the apparent, it is said, "the difference is." What is meant by "by what" is how is it experienced as non-different? By what does it exist, and what other ways are there? Therefore, what is meant by "therefore, it itself." What is meant by "from something" is from one's own luminosity. This is said after admitting another general (concept). Now saying "that is also not there" means "even if it is another general." The answer is "like a rabbit's horn, etc." Because they are not different in ultimate truth, they are not things themselves; to dispel this doubt, it is said, "if their," that is, referring to rabbit's horns, etc. Establishing that tenet is referring to rabbit's horns, etc. The answer is "for this also," that is, referring to a person. Showing the state of what is said itself is "here also." Because in that way it is not desired that the general is different, that the general is different from another general, therefore, what is meant by "therefore" is the general.
