It is not clear! If it is thought that it appears that way from the sound, then it is called the knowledge of sound. What is called the nature of direct perception alone is not the nature, because it is impossible for one thing to have two natures. If it is thought that the same nature appears as other forms in other consciousnesses, then it is called the nature of sound. Why? Because it is said "in general." Its nature is the nature of direct perception. Therefore, his intention is that it does not appear as other forms in other consciousnesses. This fault is not only this, but everything will appear. Why is that? Because it is said like this. Is it not the nature that should not be observed that does not change into other forms? If it is changed into other forms by others, then it will become impermanent. When the characteristics of blue and so on are observed, the consciousness of blue and so on, which is produced by the unobstructed habits of beings and appears unclearly, arises, and there is excessive attachment to its appearance as an external object. Therefore, what is the use of direct perception? That is to say, it is also like that for it, and for the knowledge of the general form, it is produced from sound. The subsequent connection is to enter afterwards, that is, the part of the form of blue and so on is unclear. What is meant by what is transformed is not the general place, nor is it excluded, because neither has such a form. It itself is not general, because it has no form. The first *Pramanavarttika* is not explained because it is clear. Explaining the second one is clear, that is, from sound. At that time, the general form is only related to the clear nature. In order to welcome and eliminate the doubt that may arise from clarity, it is said to be from clarity. What is meant by from where is that it is not the form of clarity. Because it is produced by it, if it is said to be its, then it is said to be produced from clarity. Why? Because it is said that there is no general. How is it? Because it is said to be different from it, that is, different from the form of blue and so on. The subsequent form is the appearance itself.

Nala. In general, If it is thought that "that is it," then it is said, "gone after." If one wants the general aspect that does not clearly show blue, etc., then saying, "those meanings will not change," is "because of that reason." Because from sound, both the general and the meaning that abide in the aspect of blue, etc., are understood, to dispel the doubt that "meaning is the general," it is "both also." The answer is, "It will not become the object of the senses." If only from sound both are understood, then the senses become meaningless, therefore it will not become the object of the senses. However, when sound arises, it can hold both people, while the senses only hold the difference, therefore the senses have a result. What is said is "sense." The meaning of "object of the senses" is "only the difference," which is the remainder. If it is thought, "How is this unreasonable?" If the senses do not take the general, then it will become without a sign, saying, "sound is not reason." The answer is, "It does not depend on sound." If it is not understood from sound? If you ask, "Then how do you say it will not change?" The answer is, "Because from sound there is no understanding of the general that is manifestly taken." If it is thought, "Why is there no such understanding?" The answer is, "It is belief." Just as from direct perception the belief arises that "this cow is a cow," from sound there is no belief. Or saying "no," this is to refute the argument. Just as it appears, the general also becomes the object of the senses. If it is thought, "When the senses understand the appearance, they do not hold the general," the answer is, "senses." For "object of the senses," "general" is the remainder. The remainder is the same as the previous explanation. Saying, "From here there is also no such understanding," means "because the appearances are different." Therefore, the general is not understood from sound. Because in the knowledge arising from sound, only the part of the aspect of blue, etc., appears, and nothing else, therefore. Therefore, summarizing, "the senses becoming meaningless is right in front of us," the summarizing meaning is "therefore, it is only appearance." Blue
