Regarding translation. If it is not different, then it will not be translated, to welcome the doubt, it is called "why". "Then" is the answer. To welcome the doubt that what is cognized by discrimination has that meaning, it is called "why". The aspect cognized by discrimination, called name and sign, is not the function of meaning. "Therefore" means "because of that". "That is also unreasonable" is the answer. To welcome the doubt that it enters from clinging to the function of meaning as real, it is called "from special clinging". "It has already been said" means that it is explained by "that aspect" itself. "If it is not so" means admitting to clinging to the aspect of knowledge. If one clings to the function of meaning in name and sign, then one must also establish other names and signs for that name and sign. Similarly, for that too, because it is other, there is no end. Therefore, it is reasonable to cling especially to the aspect of knowledge itself. Even if one admits, it is not measured. Explaining "even if one admits, it is not measured": For that, that is, for what appears as name and sign, if one also thinks that it is confusion itself, just as the aspect of knowledge is confused on external objects, then there will be no name and sign at all. If one says that it can be established on the confused knowledge itself, then what is said is done with confused knowledge. "Because the rest is not said", to welcome the doubt: "That aspect itself", that is, the unclear aspect such as blue. "Meaning" is name and sign. "No" etc. is the answer. If so, just like the aspect of knowledge, clinging to name and sign is also the function of entering meaning itself, from welcoming the doubt, to admitting that it is the aspect of the meaning of knowledge. It is said that it is reasonable to cling to the aspect of meaning itself, because it is the nature of knowledge, so it is not seen. It is not so for name and sign, because it is not its nature, so it is not seen. "With all nature" means supplementing its aspect of consciousness. If all knowledge is without aspect and has meaning, then the consciousness of discrimination should also be admitted as if it were only meaning. Therefore, the wisdom confused by that aspect.

To dispel the doubt of "How can it be said that it is the living being who enters?", if someone asks: From where is it known that all consciousnesses are without characteristics and that they appear as external objects? The answer is: 'This characteristic'. All consciousnesses, because their objects are distinct, are not deceptive and without characteristics, and all minds, intellects, and consciousnesses should not have meaning, because in dreams, etc., one can see consciousness without external objects. If someone thinks that even in dreams, one sees based on actions that do not have names, etc., the answer is: 'It is not actions either'. Why is it not manifested from actions? The answer is: 'Because contradictions appear'. That is to say, for blue, etc. What is dreamed in a dream is not even blue, etc., because it is unobstructed, that is, in its own realm, it is not an obstacle to the arising of others. If someone thinks that it is unobstructed like the form of the intermediate state, the answer is: 'That is consciousness'. Just as one should look at the minds of others with the divine eye, even if one should look at the uncommon, in the intermediate state it is only consciousness. Even so, even if it is the object of grasping, it is not established in the external realm. People, etc., with the nature of blue, etc., are also only consciousness, because they are uncommon and do not appear as objects of grasping. The answer is: 'Therefore, they are names, etc.'. The so-called "it is like that" refers to having the meaning of merely experiencing the distinctions of what dwells in front. The so-called "deception" is refutation. The so-called "even if it has manifestation" is to dispel the doubt of the existence of distinctions. If someone answers: Even if everything is without manifestation, there will be distinctions between valid cognition and non-valid cognition. The answer is: 'If that is the case, then'. If someone doubts: Is everything with manifestation or without manifestation? The answer is: 'It is without manifestation'. If someone doubts: How can this become like that? It is connected like this: It should not have manifestation. If someone asks: How? The answer is: 'In dreams, etc.'. Because clinging to what dwells in front is uncertain.
