It is clear. "That also" refers to the happiness arising from the senses. To say the opposite is to say, "It is not so," meaning it is fruitless. "Therefore" means because there is a result. "Therefore" means because the clear nature is not understood. This clarifies the first aspect as well. To explain "name, etc.," the first aspect is presented, which is "If that is so, then." "Not possessing" refers to the characteristics of name and sign. "Unrelated" means unrelated to all three. Regarding name, etc., being unrelated, and being related to meaning, even if there is no relation, if it enters, it will not enter, etc., it will not be said to be a refutation. To say that the speaker and listener are related is "the speaker, etc." If one thinks, "What fault is there if one enters even without understanding?" it is "even without understanding." Because understanding what one enters becomes meaningless, therefore entering without understanding is not reasonable. Like a painting and a body, and various efforts, saying one enters another, that is confusion. Because confusion is the cause of entering. Understanding in this way from sign and meaning is not confusion here. What will one enter for an ununderstood meaning? If one thinks, "What fault is there if it is confusion?" it is said, "If it is confusion." "If it becomes like that" means it will become without an object. To eliminate the fault of becoming without an object, if different names and signs are understood, there is no end, so it is said, "For that also," which is for that which imposes the fault of being without an object. "It will become without end" means that for that also, because it is not grasped by its own power, other names and signs should be examined. Similarly, other names and signs should also be examined. Therefore, the understanding that appears as name and sign is not confusion, therefore, how can it enter meaning? If the example is also pushed to the side to be proven, it cannot be accomplished by its power either, so it is said, "Therefore." For the signs that become objects, saying one, understanding another through confusion, is name, etc., itself.

It is appearance, but not the appearance of meaning, because the collection of senses would become fruitless. What is said to be unestablished itself is "that also," which is the metaphor. Only by realizing that, that is, only by realizing the names and so on. Thus, it is said that for the time being, one does not enter into the meaning. Having promised, and then refuting, what is said is "if in meaning." Not understanding from hair, because it is an image of meaning, one becomes confused about meaning, and from that one enters into meaning. Likewise, when practicing extinction and so on, if one understands the characteristics, then one enters by clinging to "it is earth," and so on, this is the meaning. One does not enter by constant confusion. If one sees entering into name, then one does not enter. If one sees, then one will become blind and deaf, so the name of hair will disappear. However, from the beginningless ignorance habit, that is itself more clinging, if one says "it is consciousness," and promises another's tenet, then it is said "confused about the object." Saying the object is to indicate approximation, so it also includes confusion about self-nature. It is not wanting to be confused, but it becomes the meaning of confusion. There is also confusion about the object, and as you have promised, names and so on do not abide in the object, so there will be no confusion, as it is said, it is said from the opposite angle. From the perspective of following, it is not related because "not" is a negative word. As said before. If it is the aspect of consciousness, then saying "in consciousness" is that it is the confusion itself that arises from the cause of habit. Why? Because the wisdom of such an aspect will arise. The wisdom itself that clings more to its own aspect as meaning is born from habit, this is the meaning. The wisdom of name itself, holding it in this way, is not reasonable to enter, because it is not promised, what is said is "to others," that is, to the view of name and characteristics. That, that is, whatever is said to those who speak of consciousness with aspects, does not exist. Why? Because one does not promise the wisdom that appears as an external object. Even if one promises that consciousness has the aspect of an external object,
