The term 'that' refers to not being a follower in accordance with or in opposition to the object of the cause of the object and the owner. Why? Because it is said, 'previous efforts seen.' If, like general consciousness, the consciousness of objects, etc., also arises only from internal activity and not from other sources, is that so? (Answer) It is said exactly like that. Why does it change? This is to observe the meaning of 'things existing beforehand.' If someone thinks, in what way does one think that things exist beforehand, and if it does not depend on the thing itself, what fault would there be? (Answer) It is said 'if.' Take out 'at that time' from it and combine it with 'where' and 'in what place' etc. What is it similar to? Similar to someone with cataracts. To say the opposite is 'that and.' 'Therefore' refers to saying it in reverse. 'Even so, how can one recognize it?' If one thinks like that, then 'therefore' means that way. When consciousness arises from things like wool, this is related. 'How does it arise from that?' Combine following etc. as words of reason. 'General consciousness is not like that,' this is related. 'Why?' Because it arises only from a certain activity. 'Expanding by combining this is: what result?' 'General consciousness also arises only from effort,' collecting the dharma on this side is not said, because it is obvious. The thing to be negated, being able to recognize it as a different thing, its pervasive cause is not just arising from that, and the opposite of that is just arising from that. Therefore, the pervasive cause is the opposite object. To welcome the doubt that this is not established, it is 'the cow itself' etc. Then, how does it not arise? 'Because it is not the one who awakens the habitual tendencies.' That is to say, because it is not a horse. 'Explaining the latter half is 'that horse'.' Why not distinguish that horse? 'On that self,' that is to say, because it has humps etc. 'Explaining the first half is 'from not having the cow itself',' that is to say, what is combined with that is the consciousness of the cow itself. Then, why is there no consciousness of the cow in that? 'However.' For a group of cows, also like a lump, a horse

It is said that the nature of following that is inconsistent with things like that is not apparent in what is seen. What is meant by "by what" is by realization itself. What is meant by "does it exist" refers to a herd of cows. What is meant by "no" refers to horses and so on. Such is the act of establishing distinctions. What is meant by "because of which, it is not the case that there is existence before and after such realization" is meant by "therefore." What is meant by "if" is to welcome the doubt that it is not yet established. What is meant by "ultimate meaning" is things. What is meant by "mutually" is the answer. By the power of beginningless habitual tendencies, conceptual minds are mutually reversed, but clarity arises from the power of their own causes, and they are born in mutual reversal. Therefore, what should be done to approach establishment? If you ask, if there is something to be realized, is the mind not reversed? The answer is, it is true, but it follows what is to be realized and acts in accordance with reversal, but not otherwise, as it is said, that is what is meant by "if." What is to be eliminated is elimination, that is, the general. If it does not exist, it will not change, but if it exists, if it exists, then at that time it will not become powerless. If all have minds, then what is to be realized should also exist in all, and to welcome this doubt is what is meant by "that is the general." What is meant by "one with cataracts" is the answer. Such Only is pervasiveness. In that general, there is also the fault of not being pervasive because it is seen by others. That it exists means that effort and so on exist. What is meant by "one with cataracts" and so on. Just as cataracts are the cause of diminishing, so it is not only the object of focus, just as the arousal of inverted formations is also the cause of the diminishing of internal action, so it is not only the object of focus, as it is said, that is what is meant by "again." What is meant by "if" is to gather. To welcome the remaining doubt is what is meant by "the task is accomplished." Because there is no accomplished task in sounds and so on, it is not true that the senses are weakened, so there is no fault of mutual dependence, if it is said, the answer is, this is also the same for the general that was just said, because there is no task to be done, it is not true.
