The doubt of eliminating faults is answered by "because they are different continuums." If it is the immediate cause, then smells, etc., will not be established as different continuums, which is the meaning of answering "this." The different continuum itself is not contradictory to the cause itself, because there is no harm. Unverified means knowing without conceptualization. Because what is established by it is also unverified. Even if it is established, it is only established by valid cognition, so how can it be conventional truth? Refuting this statement is also untrue, which comes from the heart. How is it untrue? Verification is said to be valid cognition, which is the meaning of "verification." Therefore, this is because verification is valid cognition. If you think that a cause is not needed, then what is it? It is the meaning of illusion, which is the meaning of "the meaning of illusion." "This itself" refers to the meaning of realization that is not valid cognition itself. Saying that in the world, famous words are used to express the realization that is not valid cognition, this is the meaning of "famous in the world." The realization that is not valid cognition is expressed by words such as conventional truth and illusion, which is its meaning. Because of this, if the meaning of words such as conventional truth and illusion is not understood, then the famous meaning becomes the meaning famous by valid cognition, this meaning has no fault. Whatever realization has valid cognition following it is not conventional truth, which is what "the author" said. Classifying other valid cognitions that are outside of self-awareness, this is what is said by "it is conventional truth, because it depends on external objects." This is the meaning of "valid cognition and non-valid cognition." Why? This is what is said by "for example, like this." When speaking of the nature of non-deception, this is the meaning of "non-deception." What knowledge depends on to establish itself as valid cognition is other knowledge, which is the meaning of "obtaining." If so, what will happen? This is the meaning of "if meaning." If the previous knowledge has experienced the meaning, then what does the later knowledge depend on that has no meaning? It is realized just because of that. Therefore, what meaning is there in pursuing obtaining meaning? Therefore, this is because there is no pursuit of obtaining meaning.

Return. To address the doubt that later knowledge cannot further understand, it is said, "However, that which is later is other." This is what is to be said. This, indicated by it, saying "It is fire" is the answer. "It" refers to the previous knowledge. Saying "Obtaining that becomes valid cognition" is said by others; that is the previous knowledge. The word "obtaining" refers to the other in this context. If that is the case, this is the answer. If obtaining the other, the other is valid cognition, then for all knowledge, because there is obtaining of anything, it would be too much of valid cognition. That is the meaning. To the two sides that have already been excluded, saying "It is unreasonable" is like saying "Even for approximate indication." If that is the case, the distinction between valid and non-valid cognition would become non-existent. Saying "Because of that." "Slightly" refers to measurable things, etc. However, that which has only the other as its object is not valid cognition, but if it is said to be the ultimate possessor of obtaining manifest desire, it is the manifest desire of the world, if that is the case, then that would only become conventional. Saying "That would only become conventional" is like saying "How it is in convention is how it is." Why is it considered manifest desire? "Having transcended the reality of things." This is what is to be said. For whatever exists as it is, just as it exists, the distinctions of valid cognition, etc., also exist conventionally. If that is the case, that is just how it exists. If saying "etc.", it is the entry of the commentary on valid cognition. "For the universal also" refers to having a function. "Universal" is the function of the characteristic of knowledge and expression being non-different. Saying "For all" refers to having it for the universal, etc. Saying "It is not" refers to the universal having a function, thus connecting. Why? Because for the characteristic of the universal, the following and reversing related to the mind do not appear. Saying "Eyes and form, etc., are like the mind" is an example of dissimilar dharma. Saying "Due to the conditions of the object and the possessor for the object" refers to the object of form, etc., and the possessor of eyes, etc.; those themselves are the conditions, because they act together. The words should be arranged like this: "What is the object?" Similarly, the mind of the universal is not.
