If one suspects that the fruit can be recognized from existing things, it is because of recognizing it only in that way. The answer is that from things that are not pervasive, recognition will not become the only certainty. Then the pot is also like that. It is also the same for the pot. Like this, one will recognize its fruit. If one suspects that this woolen cloth, seeing it mistakenly as woolen cloth, is not recognizing its fruit. The answer is that for that, it is an illusion. So, if it exists like that, just existing, although it is possible, but just as that pot is not its fruit, for the smoke etc. that are obviously desired, it will not become a fruit because of fire etc. The answer is, it is this, it is the pot itself. For that also, smoke etc. are also like that. However, since the illusion of smoke etc. is not seen, not believing is not recognizing. Therefore, thinking that the fruit is recognized only from that, this is called recognition without belief. The so-called "not seen for a long time" is the answer. The so-called "welcoming that" is without disbelief. For those who have seen for a long time, for those who have not seen together, but have seen together, even because they see illusion, they believe even if they have not seen. In terms of places and times, etc., kalpas, not seeing does not establish non-existence, because there, only from that, the recognition of its fruit is not the only certainty. However, if one suspects that the recognition of belief in its fruit by worldly people comes from seeing it many times. The answer is that the worldly term is just like that. For those who have not seen for a long time, the term of knowledge for an unreliable place is only conventional, not a valid measure of meaning. The answer is, it is ability. If that is the case, it means that there is no valid measure for establishing cause and effect. To explain that there is no valid measure for the recognition of cause and effect, so welcoming the suspicion, saying if it is at another time. The so-called "not like that" means that the fruit was not recognized before.

To those who recognize, the answer is that there is no measure to consider it as its result, just as before, which is called "recognizing the former." If it is thought that it is understood through understanding the meaning, etc., then "examination" etc. is mentioned. If it is said from memory, it means that seeing through the occasion, one considers it as the result itself. If one thinks, how can that memory be established? It is said, "Like this." "Memory also" is called an answer, not just recognition. "Memory is related to experience, and neither that nor others can know it, and it cannot be understood from understanding the relationship," this is his idea. If, because there is no holding of the relationship, memory is not a sign, and one doubts that it is not a measure, it is said, "Memory is." Therefore, even if it is established, the establishment of a measure is not, disrespectfully saying, "Its establishment is." After welcoming such doubts, up to "if you want." "Said" etc. is used to say "how could it be like that" etc. This "how could it be like that" etc. is not saying "no matter what," disrespectfully, but saying "although the conventional is like that, the one who enters the measure, do not overturn the conventional." This is saying the distinction. If one enters the measure, it is the result itself, etc. The conventional will be completely destroyed, because there is no distinction. It is said, "worldly terms." "Like this only" etc. is not a measure. "Ultimate" etc. is distinguished by measure. If one thinks, "Then how are worldly results themselves etc. established?" It is said, "the distinction of faith." For this example, it is "in a dream." Just as in a dream, drinking and swimming etc. are terms determined by water only through belief, so it is here as well. If, like a pot and cloth, smoke and fire are not cause and effect, then how can one be called the result itself etc. from one, and not from another? After welcoming this doubt, only in the conventional, from the determination of beginningless habits, it is determined.
